Re: England
Very cynical of Kane to wait till he knew Charlton wouldn’t add to his total. Pretty disrespectful if you ask me.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 9:23 pmKane now passes Bobby Charlton for scoring the most Wembley goals.
The list below is before tonights goal.

Bottom line is, as everybody knows, (including the paying fans) there was nowt at stake.
That's why it was sh1t.
Avoiding injury was the name of the game.

Re: England
I only watched the first half until I realized there was Bath v Bristol rugby on another channel. Blimey it was poor overall (a few players did show some spark (eg Foden) but far too many looked clueless about what they were supposed to be doing).
Did Tomori ever play a forward pass in the time he was on? Him and Rashford down the left = no threat, dead end.
I've seen the Kane goal on replay and that was a very good goal; Walker given a ball in front of him to run onto (rarity), then some neat, quick inter-passing. Showed what could be done with some sort of positive mindset and a bit of adventure.

Then he should have picked a team of players not quite sure of a spot in the squad for the Euro's.ElectroClaret wrote: ↑Sat Nov 18, 2023 12:11 amBottom line is, as everybody knows, (including the paying fans) there was nowt at stake.

Re: England
Like some other England players, Rashford will stay in and around the squad/team until he hits some kind of decent form, and when he does, he'll be sidelined.
Cant help but wonder whether Rashford is in the same boat as Lyle Foster, but he just hasn't worked it out or annouinced it yet. If that's the case, of course I wish him well.
When he's on it, he's absolutely class, but sometimes I watch him, he looks physically redundant, and it appears to me like he absolutely doesn't want to be there.

I've genuinely never seen him play better than mediocre.bobinho wrote: ↑Sat Nov 18, 2023 5:24 pmLike some other England players, Rashford will stay in and around the squad/team until he hits some kind of decent form, and when he does, he'll be sidelined.
