YourParkingSpace at Burnley Tesco.

Post by It Is What It Is » Wed Nov 22, 2023 8:55 pm

Got tickets for the West Ham and Blades games...travelling from west coast.
Saw YourParkingSpace co.uk online and they say if I give them £3.50 I can park at Burnley Tesco for more or less all day?? Is this right or is it a con.
Anyone used this company please?

It's £5 to park at back of Saint Mary's church... Literally across the Rd from the turf

Easiest and best option for me.

Or you can park on the streets in Brunshaw up the hill and have a 5 min walk after the game and get away through cliviger.

It’s not a con. We’ve used them several times for away games. Just make sure you book the times you need and it all works with vehicle recognition.

Used YPS loads of times. Can’t fault it at all

Even when I booked it under one car reg and we ended up going in a different car, we were able to changed the details in seconds as we were driving there

So, hypothetically want to shop at Tesco on saturfay afternoon
I'm bad on my pins bit not disabled and find I can't get near to the store because the car park is full of supporters who are not spending money in Tesco, only benefitting the car park company.
So they go to Asda or Sainsbury's. IIs the Manager getting a cut from parking co

BTW speaking on behalf of a relative who is not a sports fan.

Probably Tesco PLC who have agreed it rather than the branch manager

They only have a limited number of spaces to sell, and from my experience it does not impact on shoppers being able to find a space whatsoever. I have also used it when the instructions were to park away from the entrance to the store, so even the bad on their feet shoppers will be unaffected

Tesco have already sold out for the two upcoming home games so they only sell a few places, based on electronic knowledge of how many are typically left empty in each store at each time.

I suspect the lack of spaces is people parking without permission.

Any lack of space will be shopper's for 2 hours at Christmas or football fans ok paying the fine!

That's spot on - no retailer is going to be making it difficult for their customers to park. As posted above, we've parked previously at places where asked to keep away from the store entrance.

It won't make any difference going to Sainsburys or Asda either as both of these rent spaces on parking sites too.
