Must have been much more enjoyable to write, this one!
' the first time we’ve scored five in a game since Eddie Howe’s team beat Peterborough 5-2 early in the 2012/13 season.'
Should that read home game, Tony? We scored 5 at MK Dons under Dyche.

Sorted - the MK one I know all about, the biggest away win since 1947 and on my birthday
Always more enjoyable when you win but the difficult reports are the one with very few incidents when you can't think of anything to write or hang the report on.

We were trying to remember the last time we scored five at home, can't believe it's so long ago. It was an Austin hat trick that day, I think.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 12:49 pmSorted - the MK one I know all about, the biggest away win since 1947 and on my birthday

Our brains went into gear once the fifth went in and that was the one we had come up with - two away since at MK & Wigan

Thanks CT. It must've been a slog reporting on the previous home games this season. Great to finally read about a home win.

Love the line " I think he's got a screw loose"
I use that all the time and have to explain it sometimes

Not a phrase you hear very often now but I thought it very apt for McBurnieNonayforever wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 8:02 pmLove the line " I think he's got a screw loose"

Re: REPORT: A home win at last and a big home win
Good report Tony, still think we would have thrashed them even without the sending off as we were straight in their faces from the off and another positive for me we got it forward quicker and it paid off...
Re: REPORT: A home win at last and a big home win
Thanks Tony. Good to read a winning report.
I think Jays goal was a bit earlier than the 'official' 22 seconds, I looked at the scoreboard and I'm sure it was more like 16 seconds.

Thanks for the report Tony, having missed my first home game in years. Went in hospital on Friday for an operation, after I got back to the ward to recover I wished I had gone on the match.

Hope the op was successful and there's nothing better than a win to aid recoveryyosserhughes wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2023 7:51 amThanks for the report Tony, having missed my first home game in years.
