I think Rockstar will break the ordinary RRP price with this game such is it’s demand, possibly as high as £99.99. Their CFO has already hinted at this by questioning the accepted wisdom of the same RRP for all titles, I think that’s fair as well. After Red Dead 2 I would happily pay it.

Re: GTA VI
Wouldn't surprise me, I think I read they have spent (or will spend) a Billion dollars creating this game. Will be scary amounts on how much they recoup. I imagine they'll do packages worth over £100 as well with online/in-game money etc.jedi_master wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2023 8:30 amLooks incredible.

Re: GTA VI
I haven’t gamed since GTA 5 was first released.
This game will probably change that.

Re: GTA VI
I bought a PS4 during lockdown to keep me occupied whilst on furlough, played Far Cry 5 (I think it was called) complted it in a few weeks and enjoyed it but sold the console after it gathered dust for 12 months, I'm just not someone who can sit playing computers for hours, prefer to be active.
Watched that video though and genuinely considering buying another haha

Re: GTA VI
Head and shoulders above in terms of gaming franchises for me. Similarly feel I’m getting too old to be sat playing computer games but I may well make an exception for this.
Re: GTA VI
Be some serious hours put into this over the next few years once released
Purposely got a series X for the storage ready for it
It could be 200 quid and id still buy it

Re: GTA VI
People pay 70 quid every year for Fifa. Paying £150 for GTA for the next 15 years is probably worth it.

Re: GTA VI
After becoming a dad in 2019, I've tailed off with computer games. Will definitely be getting this though even if I need a new console

Re: GTA VI
I don't have a console because it becomes all consuming - just can't turn them off at night and used to go to bed at silly o'clock playing games. Especially when in college/uni... COD/Halo/Elder Scrolls/GTA them sort of games
I think i'll make an exception when this comes out next year like I guess many will and play the pants off it for a few completions then sell the console and game, just has to be done.
Brilliant choice on the music by Rockstar for the opening trailer; the late great Tom Petty's, "Love is a Long Road", which overnight has gone from a lesser known song of his to one of his most popular! Think the official music video has had over a million views overnight.

The game looks unbelieavable. Very excited about it.

Re: GTA VI
PS5 is definitely the console to get for anyone who hasn’t got a new generation console, iv had a series X and a PS5, the PS5 is superior in every aspect.
