It's the same old same old on here. He is either the best in the world or the worst.

Let's just say he has definitely saved us a point today, no doubt about that. He has his weaknesses but he was MOM today. Let's enjoy that but don't suddenly say he is he's the best ever. As always, it's about balance.

The point remains - if we want to maximise his attributes then VK needs to change the playstyle and the way we build ups

Agree, we need to change the tactics. Stop playing from our own half.
[/quote]

Exactly that. Clinton Morrison made the point that having watched us several times our biggest downfall is being guilty of “overplaying creating dangerous situations”
Presumably that is all down to VK and the coaching staff but are they prepared to learn and make the change(s).?

Made some great saves to keep us in it at the death.

Also made some terrible passes.

It’s not about being overtly emotional “gotcha” takes it’s the facts.

10 saves - phenomenal

35% accurate passing - torrid
How about just giving credit to young lad instead of mugging him off?

Lads had game of his career. (Well 2nd after THAT final)

What’s with grown ass men on here that can’t take take an objective point with our lashing out like an overtly emotional man child.

Traff kept us in it at the end - good stuff.

Need to improve though in all facets because we got away with one today.

One of the best in the world at the moment but keep talking about how he's one of the worst goalkeepers ever to play for Burnley.

What a guy.
You do realise that’s every bit as stupid a comment as those saying he’s one of the worst keepers to play for Burnley ?

Just a nice “well done traff” would’ve been fine but you come out with these made up stats/percentages like you’re some sort of genius and in reality most on here know you spout absolute shite.

"made up stats"

They're literally easy to look up.

It's so toxic this ****. This stuff contributes to the dickheads who go the other way and act like he's the worst in the world. People ought to be allowed to offer nuance, people ought to be allowed to caution against all or nothing black & white outlooks. I guarantee the people who go overboard in their praise of some go overboard in their criticism of others and vice versa- it's not a stable way of appraising things.

He had a fantastic performance especially the last 20 minutes, as a shot stopper. Pope or Heaton style, won us that point with multiple great great saves. He wasn't absolutely flawless as he did flap at a couple of crosses and his distribution contributed repeatedly to turnovers in possession which inhibited our play. REGARDLESS OF that distribution weakness, it was Trafford who retained us that point, 100%.
Why is that something people can't say?

Stinking the place out all season? I've not been overly impressed at times, but that's a massive exaggeration.

Our young players are on a massive learning curve, obviously they will make mistakes.
Trafford is showing improvement, and so are several others.
Give it a rest and enjoy an exciting new era, the negativity does no-one any good.

I get that and take it on board but Trafford isn’t the only one in our defence who is incapable of playing the way VK wants them to play.Thought the defence as a whole were superb today despite the obvious giving the ball away trying to play out from the back thing.

It was the same in the first half though.

The point still stands. The distribution is chalk and cheese.

If we want a lad that can make reactionary saves behind a deep back four (which then turned into a back five) then yeah great!

Then I’d have to ask - we’re not playing this visionary ‘sexy football’ are we.

Telling that we’ve played our best stuff 4-4-2 and finally got a point away in the PL playing 18 mins 5-4-1.
I don’t think VK has ever claimed his mission was to play only sexy football, sometimes you have to adapt and weather a storm, I thought we did that perfectly today.

But here you are, pointing out the negatives after a brilliant result.

Whoosh. We got away with one today in large parts thanks to Trafford’s saves at the death. Nearly beat ourselves again. Still needs to improve but at least we showed resilience 👍

How did we get away with one? Rodriguez had the best chance of the second half.

Nearly beat ourselves? More like nearly beat by a top side but we weren’t beat, we stood firm and scrapped for that point.

If we’re just gonna sit here and point out the negatives and what we did wrong after a positive performance and result then what’s the point?

I’d say giving up 29 shots/11 on target to 6/3 and the obvious point of Traff keeping us in it at the end.

The positives are we showed some resilience- finally.

It's shouldn't surprise that it's taking our manager and players time to settle and show more resilience in this league.

Was good to see we are playing more direct from the back, rather than faffing about all the time.

Nothing wrong with kicking the ball upfield when you have goal kick than messing about.

Can you name me the game in which he had another 45 minutes like today's?
Actually no I can't. I still had I'm my head your original point suggesting he's only had a good 45 mins all season. His performance today has been his best for us.

Unreal today I’ll give him that. Gained us a point.

But… doesn’t change the fact hes been stinking the place out all season.

Hopefully a huge confidence boost for him and the start of some better performances like today.
The only thing being stunk out is this messageboard. By the usual handful of cocks who can't handle us not being as good as Barcelona or City.

😂😂😂😂😂😂 So I'm wrong but you can't name even 45 minutes from 15 to prove it

Nope - but your pathetic little dig was that was his first good 45 minutes in 16 games
Which it was, your point was it wasn't but between two of you you can't name me another good 45 😂

Some top saves today... well done lad 👏

However, somewhat ironically, it was one of his shite passes into midfield that a BHA player did not control - and that led to our goal 😀
