"Andros Townsend has changed his name on the back of his Luton Town shirt to "Townsend Sr." to acknowledge his four-year-old son, Andros Townsend Jr., and potentially pave the way for his son to become a professional footballer in the future."

City have regressed 2 years. They are back to trying to walk the ball into the net. It's ****, just as when Arsenal used to do it.

We’ve got no one who can put in a cross or win a header like that.

Great ball in but why are City pxxxing about again
Foden has his cba head on today which doesn't help.
Let's hope another rollover for City is not on.

Lovely cross by Townsend.
With all the new blood a seasoned Aaron Lennon type would have been good for the squad. Shame it didn't work out.

Re: todays footy - Sunday 10th
Hopefully Fulham are getting their goalscoring form out of the way now before going on a drought in 2 weeks time.
Re: todays footy - Sunday 10th
Not our week for helpful results.
Re: todays footy - Sunday 10th
We are constantly told on this board by posters that despite spending over £100million to improve the best ever championship team that we are still miles away due to the gap these days yet Luton who spent a fraction are currently beating City(will probs lose, hopefully) and Everton are beating a billion pound squad in Chelsea.

Re: todays footy - Sunday 10th
Some bizarre refereeing decisions this weekend, same as every weekend I suppose, how is that not a red for Brown in the two footed jump against Foden?
Also if people haven't seen, take a look at Onyeka's challenge at Sheff Utd yesterday and only got a yellow.

Re: todays footy - Sunday 10th
Red for Brown all day long. He clearly jumps off the ground at Foden and catches him above the ankle. Totally mindboggling how he has got away with that. The inconsistency is a joke.

Re: todays footy - Sunday 10th
Luton fans not happy with the ref. One of those games where when they get home and rewatch it they will realise they were wrong.....and in fact very lucky not to be down to 10

Officials have probably **** out since the home crowd started singing 2-1 to the referee.claretburns wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 3:32 pmSome bizarre refereeing decisions this weekend, same as every weekend I suppose, how is that not a red for Brown in the two footed jump against Foden?

The one yesterday with Onyeka was a joke. Even if the one he got booked for was only a yellow, surely VAR can advise the ref that he made two yellow card offences in the same phase of play, just a word in his ear.
Re: todays footy - Sunday 10th
We need a goal from Chelsea to make it an ok weekend
Re: todays footy - Sunday 10th
I wouldn’t be worrying about Everton either. They will still finish in around 10-12th this season.
Re: todays footy - Sunday 10th
Gueye will miss the match with us next week through suspension. Oh and Branthwaite.

Re: todays footy - Sunday 10th
I thought Brown would stay on after VAR took so many viewings. A terrible call by him.
I think it came down to the final still where Brown had his right foot on the ball but that was after his left foot leg-breaker.
Should have gone for that.

Everton 2-0
Re: todays footy - Sunday 10th
Were it not for the points deduction Everton would look a very good bet for Europe this season.
Re: todays footy - Sunday 10th
Typical Dyche performance. Everton would be tenth without the deduction. Not a chance they will be in the relegation fight
