Jurgen Klopp
I see the giant hypocrite has had a dig at Burnley during his impromptu stand up Show at Anfield last night…
Personally, I’ve never liked the whinging, self centred hypocrite….

Imagine going to Liverpool for Christmas… I'd rather stay at home to avoid being robbed, stabbed or shot.

Re: Jurgen Klopp
He was generally alright and seemed a bit of a character in the early days but he’s been miserable for a while now. Comments like this are much of a muchness (though somewhat hypocritical from a self proclaimed socialist and man of the people) but I particularly hate the way he talks to those in the media - tantamount to bullying. Des Kelly fired back at him very well when he was complaining about the schedule a few years back. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PnYeGrJhHX4

Re: Jurgen Klopp
To add some balance, I consider Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day to all be part of Christmas.

Re: Jurgen Klopp
There have been three days of Yule since pre-roman times… 24th, 25th and 26th December. The Christian church expanded it and we currently have twelve days… which dates back to the early medieval.

The pain in the backside that is Christmas is over once Christmas Day is out of the way as far as I'm concerned, but you continue to celebrate your medieval whatever if it makes you feel better.elwaclaret wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 1:53 amThere have been three days of Yule since pre-roman times… 24th, 25th and 26th December. Christmas games are a part or English football tradition We have enough disruption with meaningless England games so our games are to be savoured. No doubt we will be having the bxxxxxxx of a Winter break to appease our foreign managers too.

Re: Jurgen Klopp
I think it’s quite charitable that Liverpool will look after their own community so well, by traveling to Burnley around Xmas, allowing the locals free rein to clear out their players houses of all their valuables.

Re: Jurgen Klopp
He probably thinks that the PL should just award them the three points so that they didn’t have to make the long and difficult journey to Burnley over the Christmas period. I’m not a violent person but there’s something about Klopp that makes me want to punch him extremely hard.

People have been saying for 30 years that we’ll be getting a winter break at Christmas soon! But it’ll never happen. Italy now play games over Xmas which they never used to.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 2:22 amChristmas games are a part or English football tradition We have enough disruption with meaningless England games so our games are to be savoured. I'm not convinced that would mean much to the current bunch.

Other teams will be looking forward to playing us. We should still use these comments as motivation for the players.

Klopp is a nasty piece of work.
Re: Jurgen Klopp
Liverpool fans online are trying to frame this as if he meant it was a tough place to go. You couldn't make it up!
Re: Jurgen Klopp
I take that as a compliment, from Herr Klopp.
Re: Jurgen Klopp
What I don’t get is the reaction on here to a light hearted comment while at the same time accusing Liverpudlians as always playing the victim. Hypocritical?
If Kompany wants to use it to wind up the team then fine, but anyone else needs to get over themselves really.
