Upgrade child ticket to adult

Post by Mala591 » Sat Dec 16, 2023 12:40 pm

I’m fortunate enough to have been offered a child ticket for today’s match. How do I upgrade to an adult ticket?
Thanks

Usually in advance via telephone. Maybe call and they’ll e mail a new qr code.

Or I guess they’ll advise you if this current the case on the day.

You need to contact the ticket office and ask what to do.

Just wear short trousers. You'll be OK.

Out of interest Mala how did you do it and what was your experience of doing it?
I assume you have to pay the balance to upgrade?
From my previous experience trying to get a call answered by the ticket office has been like pulling teeth.

Not sure how Mala got on yesterday but I quite regularly upgrade one of our child season tickets to adult. I pop into the ticket office, give them the relevant clarets number, pay the difference and they print a new ticket. It’s a thing so they don’t bat an eyelid. I usually do it the week before but have done it on the day of game in the past.

Yes RHansbury it turned out to be a very simple and well managed process. Went into the ticket office 1 hour before the match, asked for an upgrade, presented the child season ticket, paid £10 to upgrade (over 65) and got an upgrade ticket printed.
