Can I take a stick on the Turf

Post by Westleigh » Sat Dec 16, 2023 3:16 pm

I’m struggling to walk far at the moment ,would they let me on the ground with a walking stick if I wasn’t classed as disabled?

As long as it’s not a sword stick or a pre loaded single shot jobby I’m pretty sure you’ll be ok

Am actually already in there ,but was disgusted today ,McNeil was taking a corner and a guy in his 30’s sat with a couple of young kids and the foul mouthed abuse he gave McNeil was disgusting.

staggering how stupid some are, he did nothing to warrant any abuse but some just can't help themselves.

McNeil comes on our games when he can, lived with my mates family for years and still goes back for a Sunday roast.
I’m genuinely happy to see him flourishing whilst some fat old factory worker is giving him grief

My Dad has used a stick for years and not had a problem. Why on earth would they stop anyone using a stick?

If they’re checking 70 yr old ladies bags at the turnstiles for I don’t know what they might think I might be going to do with a stick is frightening.
