Is it possible to swap seats at this stage of season?

Post by GetIntoEm » Sat Dec 16, 2023 9:29 pm

We really need to swap our seats. We've sat where we are now (JML) for quite a few years but this season there's some new people in front of us, one of them constantly swears, shouts obscenities, literally has no clue about football, moaning about passing "we should be hoofing it forward". Typical scrubber type.

It's starting to put my daughter off going because she doesn't like it. We expect some bad language but this guy's another level.

If there's space will they let us trade our season tickets?

It’s worth speaking with the ticket office Manager about your concerns, if there are seats available he may be able to move you as a temporary measure until the end of season when you’ve probably more choice depending on renewals. Either way I’d ring him or email. Hope you get sorted.

Cheers, we've reported before but nothing seems to have changed. Will give them a call this week.

He spent at 45 mins calling Dwight McNeil a effing see you next Tuesday today.

We ain't prudes by any stretch, but it's too much for a family area

Insist on speaking with the Manager or get him to ring you. I’ve always found him to be really helpful.

We got a racist coked up idiot removed from Longside lower a few seasons back. Why should you move, report them for their behaviour and get rid of them.Club was very helpful and supportive.

This blokes probably in his 50s, don't think it's drugs, he's just an idiot. His mate and young lad just laugh along with it. I've told him more than once to tone it down but just gets worse.

It'll just be easier to move if I can, will keep my daughter happy as she doesn't want the confrontation.

I don't like conceding to people like this, but for the sake of my young one and to keep her interested

I'd swap them for a season ticket elsewhere (Ewood maybe) if I was you because this season is about to turn toxic.

Admit it, you’re after a seat that doesn’t face the pitch.

If I sat there “GetintoEm” with a young daughter I would want to move with a clown like that in front of me
I am in JMac upper and don’t get to many games but never offer my seat to club for swap as I would not want a moron sitting in my seat next to the Mates I have there since the Stand opened

Not an excuse for the language, but the JML isn’t the he family area.

The JMU is the designated family area (although there is still the language issue in there)

I'd report the person who is spoiling things for you - at the very least, get him shifted and warned
