The rain was so heavy during a first half spell that it was a struggle to see what was happening from sat in the stand. It’s finally stopped raining now.

Wasn't it great to watch two teams slogging it out in terrible conditions at times. Officials doing their best with the odd mistake, players making mistakes and fouls not being dissected by VAR interference etc., etc.
A proper game of football which we did very well to win against a strong, physical Brum team. Well done to the lads

Isn’t he one of the first years as well?
I thought he did well too until looking to tire a bit in extra time (as pointed out the goal being an example of that).
To be fair the whole back 4 looked fairly solid for the most part of the game, the young right back seemed to do well one on one, Roger’s comfortable on the ball and a leader, Ashton loved to bomb forward.

Excellent game to watch, some good football and really entertaining and a credit to the players of both sides.

We might not have won either had Gifton Noel-Williams not taken one of their pens.
