Re: Match thread - Fulham v Burnley
Great performance second half. First half was fraught and concerning - but that second half was EXACTLY what this team has not previously shown it was capable of. Fight, determination, grit.
Absolutely BUZZING.

Well, well, well. Wudjabelieeeveit!
Can't comment on the performance though as I've only watched the last 20 mins or so due to ongoing Turkey gathering issues encountered earlier today but great 3 points for the lads!

Special word for Dara O’Shea today - thought he was absolutely outstanding and I’ve definitely been a doubter of his.

Far from the best performance but who bloody cares, brilliant result, here's hoping we've finally turned a corner.

I’m convinced Luton will drop, so I’m not overly bothered.
Forest losing is big. We need Nuno to have a bad start (and end).

Re: Match thread - Fulham v Burnley
It’s my birthday today and I text my only other claret relative this morning saying how nice a present it would be for them to win, said with absolutely no confidence at all.
Well, well, well…

Re: Match thread - Fulham v Burnley
I thought Trafford kept us in it first half with some cracking saves, O'shea was outstanding, Beyer doing a tackle in Midfield role with wo mins left some very good performances today. UTC

Was Tresor taken off because of injury or was it tactical?

Still trying to work out which is the greater achievement, the winning or the keeping of a clean sheet!

Just a win behind Forest....Everton also lost again. Not all plain sailing!jedi_master wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2023 5:00 pmI’m convinced Luton will drop, so I’m not overly bothered.

Re: Match thread - Fulham v Burnley
Imagine slagging off a goalkeeper mid game when it’s 0-0 by bringing up his pass accuracy stats. Why was Pope not held to the same standard and scrutinised the same?
