Ramsey on Amdouni off? Why?
I'd presume to try sit a bit deeper and do the job of two men, Amdounis role and a midfield playmaker.
Feels a bit like a resignation at 1-2 but that's the best logic I can guess at

Surely that’s a foul/red?? He’s deliberately knocked the ball out of fosters path. VAR is useless

No , he’s simply not sharp enough against the top sides as shown every time we play one. Otherwise he’s one of our better players

Clearly nudges it with his hand - goal kick and no free kick/no red card. Nice one.

We were a much more physical side under SD, but never in a season did we have so many suspended before New Year

SD was very good at keeping 11 on the pitch through a much better level of discipline.

That is a clear hand ball and surely should be a red card offence.

Takes me back to our last visit to Villa park this. There was a good three or four ludicrous decisions against us in that game (the Weghorst miss game).

Presumably the ref missed the handball completely, and VAR decided that it didn't prevent a goalscoring opportunity, it just made it a harder chance and that isn't a red card.

No consistency at all. I have no qualms about yellow cards for pulling shirts but they've been tugging fosters shirt numerous times and they never got penalised. It regularly happens in every game and it's never punished. Berge gets a second yellow almost like the ref is waiting to send him off.. then they make a deliberate hand ball and nothing is given. Wtf is going on.

Outside area so was never gonna be a pen.

I can't comment on the card scenario because I don't think it was deliberate however it's a Burnley FK at a minimum.
