Sadly I feel like this gives us false hope. Villa should have already had 2 or 3 more since the sending off. Hope I'm wrong.

This will be the best possible cure for Lyle's recent illness

Foster is genuinely looking at top 6 centre forward.

Not Odobert or JBG’s best game but JBG’s flick on was superb for our equaliser.

Because it needs to improve quicker if we want to stay up.
Like I said the club has two options. It’s up to the big men to decide what they want to do.
Fans are allowed an opinion on either option.

Foster is a leader on the pitch too. Yelling to others. Fantastic. Passion. Bite. Guile. Aggression.

We wouldn’t stay up if Sir Alex Ferguson was our gaffer.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 4:40 pmBecause it needs to improve quicker if we want to stay up.

Remarkable resilience but let's be honest. It will finish 4 or 5 to 2.

Switched CT inside and put Delcroix at LB. Tells a story.

Re: AV we got a thread v Burnley or is this it?
Use common sense. If we bring someone in with this young team hand picked by Kompany we’re likely going down regardless. You know Kompany is a class act at the level lower. You likely lose most of our talent if he leaves. You’re entitled to your opinion so I won’t be rude but surely you see that? Suffer a little now (though, we’re doing great today) for a longer term outlook.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 4:40 pmBecause it needs to improve quicker if we want to stay up.

Vit silly with that lunge out there. Just no need, he's going nowhere. Now they can deliver a cross in on JT.
Re: AV we got a thread v Burnley or is this it?
Why couldn’t Vitinhio get sent off instead of Berge?
Re: AV we got a thread v Burnley or is this it?
Some people need to realise that this was a 3 year project and we went up a year early. These players are improving all the time and they are nowhere near their ceiling yet. Holding on to some of them if we go down is going to be the problem.

I appreciate he’s excellent at the level below. I just genuinely don’t believe we should take promotion next season as a granted.jedi_master wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 4:42 pmUse common sense. My honest opinion is the club should do everything to stay up this season.
VK is improving but I’m just not sure it’s enough to stay up.

Trafford superb again - 21 years old and looking a snip at £14m rising to £19m. Worth saying that now seen as he got so much abuse about that price tag.

Blatant push from McGinn and no yellow?
Re: AV we got a thread v Burnley or is this it?
Don't think we need a discussion about the manager on a live match thread?

Following his blatant leg in 1st 5 mins from the side having held off WO beforehand with no yellow, either.

Lovely elbow from Josh there.

I am personally of the opinion that if we stick with VK till the end of Jan then he might as well stay for the next 18 months. It would be too late for any manager to make a radical change
