Truly shocking decision, these referees are falling for cheating every week. I'm with others and really hate this league and the cheating that it has

Hate the cheating, they have been throwing themselves over all day from the slightest contact. Not a fan of this manager at all.
It wins games because our officials are so incompetent.

10 vs 12 is a tough match up.
Plus they have VAR as a back up.

Should never have Been in our box, Taylor walking absolutely shocking
Re: AV we got a thread v Burnley or is this it?
Of course they aren't fouls in the real world. The problem is that in football, they haven't defined what is meant by a trip, so if a man dives, the ref can give a penalty or not at random. And VAR chooses not to help out.JimmyRobbo wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 4:54 pmWhy are those penalities?
Are they really a foul? Are they really tripping up players? I hate it in normal play and I hate it in anyu game.
"There's contact!" means nothing in normal football.
This is a case when they ought to tell the ref to have another look, but they don't.

Ramsey will be a good player but that £15m or whatever it was should have been spent on someone like the bloke coming on instead (Dendoncker). He’s just too little and soft to play in the middle as yet.

I don’t know about Connor Roberts having it out with Jacob Ramsey, he should bollocked his younger brother instead.

In this game you can see why a lot of people are put off football. Awful cheating. Inconsistent refereeing. I can't understand how it's allowed in the game.

Soft decision but that’s at least the third time Ramsey has given a goal away due to a horrible first touch, and he’s hardly played.

I’ve seen nothing in Ramsey to suggest he will be a good player. His brief appearances so far have all been strewn with errors and I’m struggling to think of a positive contribution.jedi_master wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 4:58 pmRamsey will be a good player but that £15m or whatever it was should have been spent on someone like the bloke coming on instead (Dendoncker). If there’s a touch it’s the slightest………he then dives………..theatrically……….Villa pen………no 5 minutes from every angle…….no VAR checking every touch/wink in the build up…….. just “yep, complete ………..send them sh#tty upstarts back up north”

Re: AV we got a thread v Burnley or is this it?
Can’t imagine how much Attwell has put on a Villa win. He was determined to do what ever he had to do to get them the 3 points. The no hand ball given when Foster was in on goal was mystifying to say the least. Now he is pathetically booking Martinez as if that’s gonna make things better. Most corrupt display by a ref I have ever seen

Think that’s 3 goals that you could pin on him as school boy errors now. Two falling over the ball and now this penalty.scouseclaret wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 5:01 pmI’ve seen nothing in Ramsey to suggest he will be a good player. Even if I was a Villa fan I wouldn't be happy with that. It's just b0llocks and a huge indictment on the state of these weasels that ruin football matches every week.
