Megaphone at Everton
Megaphone at Everton
Just watching Everton/Palace and it sounds like someone in crowd is leading chanting with a Megaphone!
Is that aloud? ( pun intended)

Happens very often in other countries and works really well. I don't know what it is but it's always been a bit naff when over here, just like drums. I've been at a Macedonian FA Cup game with an attendance of less than 500 but a megaphone and a drum contributed to a better atmosphere than at most Premier League and Championship games with 20,000+.

Actually thought it was at Everton. Doesn't matter though, still the same question.

TBH I wasn't really watching, it was on while I was cooking and I heard it. I started watching later and did realise it was at Palace. As I've said though, that's not really important. I am asking if Megaphones can be used, within rules of the game? I've never heard one before!

Some of the weirdest fans in football those in that little section behind the goal at Palace.
Lets all dress in black (balaclavas optional) bring a drum and a megaphone and try to make ourselves look like ultras.

Palace fans could turn up with Kalashnikovs in APC's with attack dogs, yet there clubs name suggest they would then try to sell jewellery and other tacky high end ladies accessories.

I've seen someone before with a megaphone at Palace so it is obviously something that the club allows.
To answer your question, you would imagine that this is allowed under FA/Premier League rules or the authorities would surely have done something about it?
