As a casual reader of these threads when I'm not at a game, they're almost unreadable now. It's a real shame they're ruined by incessant tit-for-tat.

Better than dawdling at the back, go nowhere and lose anyway isn’t it?
Aye that’s two he’s passed to who are marked in our half and one straight to the Spud on the edge of our box.

And some kick off when Trafford kicks it out of play…

Amdouni needs to get some better boots on, how many times has he slipped now?

Genuine question is Amdouni playing in his slippers tonight? That must be half a dozen times he's gone over

absolutely, why sit there waiting for the opposition to come take the ball off us when we could just give it straight to them

It was a moment that required the goalie to calm the play . Hold the ball… he saw an opportunity to quickly turn it into attack.. ball to amdouni was good what amdouni did was stupid as it failed brilliant if he succeeded as spurs had committed 9 in attack the end result was a superb strike that was unstoppable…. We lack composure and experience… we have a young side .. they will learn … we will not see the best from this side for a few years
The way football goes these days teams don't say together for years.

I’ve just watched it again, I’m really not sure what else Amdouni could have done there. The pace and the angle the ball was coming at put him in a really difficult position IMO
Exactly. It was a **** ball to deal with, and so unnecessary too. Our keeper put him under pressure. I don't think some on here have ever played football, apart from Fifa on a gaming consol.

I like how the Muric over Trafford fans are trying to pin that goal on Amdouni

I love the Kosovan big man but it’s a hospital pass, left Amdouni with zero option but to toe end it. Muric rush of blood a few times tonight, needs to learn to calm down and stay composed.

I don’t mind tonight’s performance whatsoever. It’s what I thought we’d play like against the big teams in the league.

Play like that from match day one and I think we’d have had more points on the board.

Given the comments before kick off, I'm surprised at the criticism now.

Every team makes mistakes in every match but not every team gets punished with a shot like that.

I'm proud to be a Claret after tonight's performance and I was looking forward to the replay. Guess what though? Sh*t happens.

C'mon you Clarets.

50/50 for me tbh. Bit of ring rust- hard when your second game is Spurs away in a cup, no?

Been sound apart from that.

Would be great if just one time, one single time, the sub wingers actually made a positive impact. It's nothingness every single time. Yet we should have Benson on our bench raring to take on tired defenders. Shocking decision to let him go.
