Not sure what some are watching.

We’re running Spurs ragged away from home and have made some clear cut chances.

Good performance this
Well said. There are some real wet wipes on here these days.

How did we not level then??

I expected utter deflation by 10pm and I've got it, not not for the reasons i expected.

Not our night, not our season.

But please Vincent, reflect on what you've seen tonight and just think about what we could achieve in the remaining games.

I’m not sure what you’re watching tbh. We’re playing against an 80% Spurs and barely laying a glove on them.

A disappointing result in the end and we could’ve forced a replay, but we’re getting better.

We need a decent forward though.

A much better performance than I expected. Partly because Spurs were off it but hey ho. We knitted together some lovely football but, as with the season on a whole, we weren't good enough in both final thirds. Giving the ball away, not taking chances.

Onto Luton.

Best result - the firinge players that started played pretty well, we certainly were no pushover against a strong spurs, and don't need the cup run adding to a tough schedule.

Hopefully Kompany has a few players to consider more game time now.

2 open goal chances for Amdouni and he fails to even hit the target. What an assist that would have been from Muric !!!!

We’ve played well overall there but the number of unforced errors we make a game must be knocking on the door of triple figures

At least there was some real effort and desire out there tonight though. Delcroix MOM.
Got to agree. Delcroix looked good on the ball and quite strong at the back.

Biggest chance of the night
No it wasn’t ,it was the joint biggest chance of the night ,he also missed at the other end,but Heyho we showed a lot of fight tonight ,AAD ,Cullen ,Delcroix all had decent games ,VK has 26 days to bring in what he thinks he needs.

Great performance, very unlucky - and out of the cup. Call me defeatist but that’s a good night for us, we didn’t need or want a replay. We yet again showed how we have begun to cope with this level of team. Just a real shame it’s perhaps too late, but it should be a more enjoyable 2nd half of the season.

The idea of continuing with Amdouni as the No 10 and Larsen up front is baffling from VK

Another positive performance, thought Cullen and Dara were excellent. Cullens had a rotten season but hopefully that performance gives him the confidence he can play at this level.

Odd game.

I’m sat here thinking we defended well, but were pretty toothless going forward. I’m also thinking that in the Amdouni first half chance and the two we missed at the death, we arguably created the best three chances of the game.

A cup run is the last thing we needed - half decent display in parts and a world away from the horror show against them at home.

Focus on the league and take the positives. Some great individual displays as well, particularly O’Shea.
Would add Cullen and Delcroix to that. It was good to see AAD come on and do okay too, he needed a confidence booster. The rest I totally agree with. Focus on staying up now.

Reasonable scoreline, but nowhere near enough quality.
Our lack of physicality, and lack of composure, are beyond repair.
I still prefer Muric, despite those ridiculous short passes to marked players, but after 18 months it needs to be recognised that VK must be insisting he plays it. How else can you explain that it still goes on.

It seems as weeks go by up the clarets resembles twitter or x if you prefer, a area world the village idiots can gather to spout nonsense , views that are just uninformed.. we have our fair share of village idiots on this forum.. most people can spot them but its getting a bit tiresome…. I understand that frustration can drive certain emotions and responses . But seriously some people need to take time outs.. as mark Twain said. Arguing with idiots only drags you down to their level and eventually you lose.

Probably the most frustrating Burnley performance I have seen.
To only concede one goal with the team he put out was good, but the amount of poor final balls or finishing was shocking.

Really encouraging performance for lots of reasons. Defensively excellent.

The decision making in the final 3rd is really poor, though, and has been all season.

We’re doing so many good things, but proving to be the masters of our own downfall all too often.

A brilliant performance by our team, but dear oh dear shocking in the last third. Any other PL side could have robbed them 3-2. We certainly had some good chances. A few like Tresor & Redmond had a chance to show what they could do, but missed the opportunity. Some really good individual performances -Cullen , O Shea, Delcroix, Ramsey had very good games, and its clear to see the coaches are making progress. Can we please get some studs for Amdouini's boots please -thought he was a big disappointment, and with Foster going off we had no attack

I honestly don’t think this side is a million miles away.

VK needs to learn from these type of performances and make the big decisions.

For me there were some real positives in Ramsey, Cullen, Delcroix.

I will no doubt get slated but I really think he’s got to take Amdouni out, he’s just not effective enough

On replay if Amdouni scores that at the end everyone says it’s an unreal finish, that’s a tough chance not much he can do at that speed to get it on target

Just seen the Amdouni chance back and that’s a very tough one. It looks worse cause it’s more or less an open net but it’s so far behind him he’s had to try scorpion kick it. Definitely not as easy as made out!
