Re: Energy providers with tariffs no standing charges?
I am not sure there are any that don’t have a standing charge, happy to be corrected.
On octopus, I am a customer.
They are good and innovative when it comes to renewables and EV cars.
Standard users probable just run of the mill.
Octopus are now doing solar and heat pump installations. They have had a modular heat pump designed to their requirements, but I have seen no feed back yet on any of the forums on how it performs, but you can have it fitted for just about free with the current subsidy.
If you have solar like me or an EV then they do lots of cost saving stuff, charge your house battery off peak cheaply and pay you to use it at peak times. Cheap EV charging times. Pay best export rates for solar.
Hope that helps

Utility Warehouse charge £24 in total for Gas and Electric but I still reckon they’re one of the cheapest energy suppliers .
