Estate agents in the area

Post by AGENT_CLARET » Thu Jan 18, 2024 6:47 pm

Looking for a good estate agent in the Burnley area, I've not sold a property since 1990 so out of the loop slightly, anybody on here sold recently

Have not sold but have bought three. One through Pendle Hill properties, who badgered us on behalf of the owner impressively.

We have since moved two rental properties away from a [rubbish] national firm to Pendle Hill Properties and would consider selling through them.

The Property Shop in Burnley.
Used them twice in last couple of years and they were excellent.
Beat the others I spoke to on fees and the quality of photos was excellent.
But the best thing they do is keep you updated throughout the process. Brittany and rest of team were all great and without them there is no way the exchanges would have gone through as they did.
Not experienced an estate agent manage the rest of the chain like they did before.

Defo Pendle Hill Properties, wouldn't use anybody else.
Brilliant local family firm who go above and beyond

I bought my house through Pendle Hill Properties and I can only agree with everybody else, I would highly recommend them.

Just bought with Reeds Rains their staff were lovely.

Conversely rented out a property with Keenan’s last year and they were useless, could never get hold of anyone, everything was difficult.

I recently bought through Pendle Hill Properties. They were good to deal with and would probably sell through them too.

Lots of estate agents promising sellers they’ll still get 2022 prices, making them sign a sole agency contract then they are stuck with them for three months and they end up having to reduce the initial asking price after a week or so as they’ve had no viewings.

Sellers still thinking they’ll get top dollar for their house because next door sold for x amount a year or two ago. They don’t seem to realise interest rates have shot up so anyone buying with a mortgage can’t afford what was being paid a year ago (or the bank aren’t prepared to lend them the money).
