It depends on the situation whether you've got family, you hardly have freedom anyway if you have bills & mouths to feed or tied to a dead end job you despise but need to continue with. It can turn your life around for the better if you make most of the opportunities afforded, I wouldn't be opposed to going to prison I'd fancy a stint in there myself to be honest but I'm not the kind of person to commit a crime to get there.
You can still walk away from your family or job.
Whilst I've never been in prison I have been in a police cell before being interviewed for a possible wrong doing. Whilst I'd done nothing wrong it didn't make much of a difference to my thinking that I've just been locked up against my wishes and had to do what other people wanted until it was sorted out.
I hope you are not being serious regarding going to prison. There do seem to be different categories of prisons but nevertheless.... I know a person who has been in prison, for good reason, and he doesn't recommend it.

Like I said it depends on ones own circumstances, I certainly wouldn't be opposed to getting instant access to see a GP straightaway or free dental care & the opportunity to learn new skills does appeal & not having to cook or clean, like anything in moderation after a bit you might get bored, if I had young children/grandchildren no I'd want to see them grow up but say as a middle-aged single bloke with no family what the hell let's have a do, in for a penny.

Unfortunately I only finished page one of the "A&E Hell" before it was pulled. I assume page 2 continued with Jakub wittering on about prisons.
Seems he's trying to get another thread pulled because of his guff.

In fact these are the only two words when put together that actually form a logical sentence.

You're white, middle class, not a Scot, not a cyclist, not interested in electric vehicles, not troubled by global warming, not anti racism, not an advocate of women's rights or gay rights or disabled rights I'm guessing.
On second thoughts, perhaps the first two were enough.

Very good, bfcjg.
I was actually more interested in Jakub's qualifications.
He seems to equate gaining said qualifications as a sure sign of his wit and perception.
I know he reckoned to be a counsellor of some description but I'm not sure whether this was on a professional or well meaning amateur basis.
I'm intrigued.

And you think people in those categories would fare better in the other countries I have lived in. You need to get around. See the world.

I've probably been to more countries than you have buddy but that's not the point.
Im talking about this country and, yes, you are tolerated if you are settled in the safe, comfortable bubble allude.
We may be more "tolerant" than other countries, and thank God for that, but a quick trawl through this board's and other Internet sites' topics will show you levels of intolerance and hatred that are extremely worrying and which seem to be getting worse.
So, thanks for the advice on travelling more - I usually get stick on here for travelling too much - but I think the inconvenient truth is that you're kidding yourself.
