It’s brilliant! Me, the mrs, & 3 kids all sat watching it. Love it, takes me back to my childhood when I got back from the turf, before blind date

Exactly the same at our house. Kids love it - 60 mins of light entertainment that does nobody any harm.Burnley1989 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 7:13 pmIt’s brilliant! Me, the mrs, & 3 kids all sat watching it. Love it, takes me back to my childhood when I got back from the turf, before blind date

TBH it's like our miniscule players battling with the physically stronger taller players in the Premier League. All we need would be for the ref to have a striped top on,throw away his whistle and start the match by shouting Burnley ready ?
Re: Gladiators
My 7 year old sons loves it, and that’s who it’s aimed at. I loved the original when I was 7 years old.

Brilliant programme. There’s a generation ( my generation ) who loved watching it when it was first on and it’s a nice throwback to them days. Proper Saturday night TV instead of this jungle factor love island crap.
And secondly I’d love to be tackled by Sabre or Diamond… yes please.

Re: Gladiators
I used to enjoy it as a kid, and enjoying the latest series. Much better than rubbish like X factor, Britain's got talent etc. Could do with replacing Barney Walsh for a more natural presenter though.
