Cracking start to the Leeds/PNE game, 1-1 both goals in the first 6 mins.
Sheffield United v West Ham at 2 oclock, come on you Hammers.
Then Bournemouth v Liverpool at 4.30.

Re: Today's Football
Very funny from the commentator to talk about Ridsdale's time at Leeds without mentioning the whole running the club into the ground thing.

Re: Today's Football
Anyone who thinks we wouldn’t romp this league again next season hasn’t got a clue. These 2 sides are **** poor.
Re: Today's Football
That's odd, they only played each other on boxing day.
What's happened to Will Keane this season? That's 9 goals now.

Re: Today's Football
And yet one of these poor sides made a better fist of their previous PL season than we're currently doing.

Re: Today's Football
If we go down, it's not easy to see how anyone could be so confident that we'd romp it when there could be many changes.gandhisflipflop wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2024 1:29 pmAnyone who thinks we wouldn’t romp this league again next season hasn’t got a clue. These 2 sides are **** poor.
Re: Today's Football
31 points to beat then
Re: Today's Football
If and I mean “if” we go down we will beat last seasons points total for sure. This is terribly poor “football”

Re: Today's Football
Why would we romp the league when, as things stand, we’ll be going down as the second best of the three relegated teams?gandhisflipflop wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2024 1:29 pmAnyone who thinks we wouldn’t romp this league again next season hasn’t got a clue. These 2 sides are **** poor.

PNE manager sick as a chocolate frog.
Re: Today's Football
Cornet and Ings both start for West Ham. 2 players that most on here say they aren’t good enough for us.

Would have loved to see Cornet in our championship team! I would have them both back in a heartbeat.
Re: Today's Football
Good game to watch apart from the result, football is so much better with no VAR.

Re: Today's Football
Since when does the previous seasons finishing positions have any baring on the season after? It’s a totally irrelevant point. Luton finished way off us last season, but have more points than us so far this season.

Re: Today's Football
Disgraceful decision against PNE wind blew ball up onto defenders hand I am not surprised Lowe was pxxxxx off.

Re: Today's Football
Yes of course we have/did. But absolutely foolish to think we can simply just romp it again. For a start we don't even know if we'd have the same manager and coaching staff.gandhisflipflop wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2024 2:09 pmI know, I mean it’s not like we’ve made many changes and stormed the league before have we?
Re: Today's Football
You could, and you’d be correct.gandhisflipflop wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2024 2:00 pmI could argue that this Leeds team are making a worse fist of the championship than our team?
All I’m saying is that there aren’t any guarantees about how we will perform next season, and using Leeds as an example of a team who had a better PL season than us who you’ve just described as poor.
Re: Today's Football
Ings looking sharp today.

Especially as the wind had gusted and also blown the defenders arm out into an unnatural positionWoodleyclaret wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2024 2:08 pmDisgraceful decision against PNE wind blew ball up onto defenders hand I am not surprised Lowe was pxxxxx off.

Re: Today's Football
Well as things stand Luton are a better team than us, so if that remains the case and we get relegated together there is absolutely no logic in your claim that we will romp the championship. It’s arrogance and ignorance. Were you one of those predicting a comfortable mid table finish this season?gandhisflipflop wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2024 2:08 pmSince when does the previous seasons finishing positions have any baring on the season after? Re: Today's Football
Commentator saying that Sheff Utd has kept the same keeper in every league game this season,I wonder if Luton have done the same, and I’m not having a dig a Trafford.

Re: Today's Football
According to Lowe the ball rolls up the defenders body and then hits his outstretched arm. Nowhere near his body. Lowe then bemoans the lack of VAR.
