Barrott seems to be doing okay, seen him a few times recently.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2024 10:23 amRef: Sam Barrott

Oh joy of joys
Re: Referee confirmed for Manchester City game
Don’t think it really matters who the ref is. Is could be David Fishwick referring against city and we’d still get smashed. Hate playing City. The sooner they are charged and relegated to the conference the better.

You might as well have someone who is blind on VAR.

If found guilty on all accounts City will find themselves in Division 3 of the Craven and District Football League
Their well-paid barrister might have other ideas.....

The last time England and Jones were up against us as a pair……I shudder when I recall. Not sure Sam Barrett can handle those two.
I really hope Kompany gives England some grief on the touchline to cheer us all up from the inevitable painful 90 minutes on the pitch.

What an absolute dream team of muppets on the sidelines. Can’t wait to see some of these decisions.

You can just imagine Rob Jones strutting around VAR headquarters at Stockley Park like a preening peacock before making any decisions.

Re: Referee confirmed for Manchester City game
I assume you've added the prefix 'pea' just so the suffix makes it past the censor? The guy has no idea how to referee a game of football. He's an absolute idiot and is a shining example of just how poor officiating in this country has become. It's embarrassing and yet Howard Webb and his wife seem to occasionally appear telling everyone how 'they're doing their best' and make complete faecal matter up every time he in particular speaks on the topic of dreadful decisions. It extracts the urine.Herts Clarets wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2024 1:05 pmYou can just imagine Rob Jones strutting around VAR headquarters at Stockley Park like a preening peacock before making any decisions.

I forgot England existed.
At least he's in the position of least damage.

We'd still draw them in the cup.
