Re: Dundee trip ???
Cracking city nowadays and a really good night out.
Like a lot of places nowadays it has reinvented itself and is a thriving exciting place.
Our eldest lad went to Uni there and then carried on living and working there for a while and we loved going up there.
Dens Park (Dundee) and Tannadice (Dundee United) are literally next door to each other. It’s really strange to see them.

I might try and plan my next work trip in the area to one of their night matches, certainly wouldn’t go just for the footy, it’s a fair old drive from Burnley

I Got thrown out of the gym last time I stayed there, because I wasn’t wearing a mask in the gym whilst using the weights!
Unbelievable, some 70 odd year old women complained because I ignored her when she told me to put one on (there was two of us in the gym and she was on the treadmill) she must have been a high profile member.
Crazy when you look back

I live 10 miles from St Andrews and your right there are some great links courses in the East Neuk area Kingsbarns, Leven, and one that just opened in the last couple of years Dumbarnie links a beautiful coastline with wonderful views looking over to Edinburgh....im 40 minutes from Dundee much more of an easy journey than the 5 hrs to Burnley might give that a whirl, have they got a message board and do they count the number of peas in a tin
I miss my live football fix.

I could do that for us....but I'm not sure I'm the best representative of our club to perform this task ....Guller Bull wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 10:24 amhttps://www.thedarkblues.co.uk/forum/8-dundee-fc-forum/ - found this one. Do we need to send an envoy bearing fruit and flowers?

Re: Dundee trip ???
I go up to St Andrews every year on a golfing trip. Last year I had a purple patch and won on the Thursday on the Burneside at Carnoustie and then again on the Eden at St Andrews on the Friday. I love golf up there and have been going since 1999. We normally stay in the Halls of residence at St Andrews which is a great location for wandering into town.
We've already booked for this year and are playing the Balcomie links at Crail on the Tuesday, Fairmont St Andrews on the Wednesday, Burneside Thursday and Eden Friday followed by dinner at the New Course clubhouse.

Re: Dundee trip ???
Their next game is on Tuesday against Aberdeen (1945 ko) shall we plan a peaceful intrusion of their board from about 1830?
