Post by Father Jack » Sat Jan 27, 2024 8:47 pm

Lots of seats need to be put back ahead of our next home game. To fix a leaking roof apparently.

If its raining, then it really makes very little difference if the roof above those seats is leaking or not

To be fair as I have done my fair share of bashing the club about off field matters, at least they have dealt with it quickly unlike at United

I wouldn’t choose to sit in the lower tier in either stand for that reason. Plenty of folk do though.

Quickly?

The roof was leaking when I was sat in that block and we moved into the upper tier 5 years ago

I laughed when i saw his post too
It's been the same for years - there's lots of parts of the ground that need immediate attention, them stands are dated

If you wanna stay dry in either of the two “new” stands, stay on the concourse….🤣🤣🤣

Aren’t you in the BL now Pete? 🤔😉🤣

And yes, before you start, I’m not far off the tartan blanket and flask of tea myself…🤣🤣🤣

I find it more difficult going down those steps rather than up

You should just get a seat in the dugout CT. And bypass the steps altogether

I can run up the stairs at home (just 13 steps) but I have to hold on coming down.

I never descend any stairs now without holding on to a rail. Dodgy left ankle can give way anytime. Never thought it would come to this.

I have the advantage of being able to hold on to a rail on both sides at home unless I'm having to carry something.
