I haven't really thought it through, you could build something or just have a marquee, a few big screens showing the early games, put it on the club website as the designated away fans prematch bar, just make it more appealing than the cricket club therefore taking custom away from them and slowing their cash flow down,
The away end already has a marquee up.
The Police will love all away fans going to one place to keep an eye on them. Plus it's about 3.80 a pint rather than 6.50 in the fanzone.
Not sure the club would win that battle.

You couldn't get or wouldn't want 2000 away fans in the fanzone, I'm sure you could reserve parking for directors in the existing car parks, the players come to the ground by coach.
The player's cars are in that car park on a matchday, how they get to the ground isn't relevant. The other car parks are oversubscribed as well.

Back row of that bottom tier will be the driest place in the ground with triple rain protection and no chance of the wind driving rain into past the tier above!

I haven't been to the new Spurs ground yet, but the point I'm making is if you rebuilt another CF type stand you would have to set the concourse back another 30 meters.
And the longer you leave building, the more safety will feature.
Depends - BL / Cricket Field end could 'in theory' be one tiered all the way around with corp above the tier, corner filled in as well.
Lots of ways to skin a cat anyway -
Interesting video here on Borussia Dortmund's safe standing:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ve_LHCOH4kg
Might not take as long or be as complex as though tearing down and re-assembling the CFE if we had seating similar to that in the video.

It wouldn't surprise me three days after the work on Yorkshire St is completed that the club announce they are to build a new ground on the M65 estate

That's when the road to the new ground would be completed, and then they could start building!

I never go down at half-time to the concourses so couldn't say, nor does a small/congested concourse have to be a feature of any one tiered stands (can't image the ends at Spurs are congested) - can also offer hospitality above a smaller one tiered stand...
I just like Deepdale because you feel really on the action, 4 stands all one tiered and near to the pitch - god forbid if they actually got decent, bet it'd be a hard place to go.
I've been to spurs for an American Football game, and the concourse was heaving. It's a much bigger concourse but there are a lot of people there.

Wasn't this tried years ago but the cricket club refused
to co-operate?
Make them an offer they can’t refuse. Like the Jimmy Helms song…..

A couple more years and Ewood might be empty and available; with no team of their own the locals would welcome us with open arms

An entire new ground built and we still can't get the goals to line up with the middle of the stand.
To be fair, they'd bob-on if you were sat in Forzagranata's seat

I thought it was pretty tight in the away concourse at Spurs, to be honest.
Nothing like the CFS or JH Upper though.

This “temporary” stand cost £10m this summer at Kenilworth Road
When are they taking the scaffolding out?

that is because when you sell hospitality, it is expected that parking comes with it, increase the hospitality and you need to increase the parking, I am surprised that the car park next to the cricket ground is not multi storey to be honest, even if it went to the same height as nearby buildings it could hold triple the number of vehicles
as for the rest the easiest way to make room for a better cricket field stand would be to remove the first six or so rows of the Jimmy Mac and do the same on the Longside for the Bob Lord. Remove enough seats at the front of the Longside and you could align with the Jimmy Mac and actually have a single 3 side structure (with corners) cradling the Bob Lord. It is not difficult to envision and doesn't require the purchase of more land - the site of the gym could be a low level multistorey car Park with Hospitality function rooms on top that bridge right over into the new Longside.

Or both stands and connect them at the corners?

I get the impression that there’s no immediate plan to make major structural changes to the ground.
Cosmetic improvements maybe, but look at how the owners operate. Any major investment would need to show the potential to increase revenue.
Is there a need for a bigger capacity or further corporate/hospitality options at present?
The idea that the cricket club is an obstacle isn’t really known. I don’t think they’ve ever had any sort of proposal from BFC since the Fulledge move was blocked by residents.

We're going down, and talking about new stadiums/renovations. Some interesting ideas but pie in the sky for me.

Replace the cricket field stand and fill in the corners at that end. About as much as we can reasonably hope for at this stage.
