Arsenal game
Wondered if there's any reason this might be moved, having been stiffed by the last minute change of Luton game, need to book accommodation around travel these days.

The Luton game had plenty of notice that it could potentially change

That's been done to death thank you, I was asking for advice to avoid wasting any more money. Sometimes if you have nothing useful to say , say nothing.Claret Till I Die wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 12:47 pmThe Luton game had plenty of notice that it could potentially change

Saying nothing doesn't hide facts. I've booked holidays with either/or dates before by using just a little bit of common sense and whilst I agree the Luton change wasn't ideal it wasn't a shock when it did change.AmbleClaret wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 10:20 pmThat's been done to death thank you, I was asking for advice to avoid wasting any more money. Good luck in the future, maybe email the club to ask if there's any possibility of a change in dates for any home games that you're planning to attend.

Had a look and agree with this, they're away at Porto on the Wednesday after playing us. Therefore, can't see a reason why this game would now shiftbigdavethemaddog wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2024 4:55 amArsenal arent in FA Cup and i dont think Europe has started again so cant see it changing unless somebody knows something we dont

Re: Arsenal game
I thought that was a reasonable answer from CTID - Arsenal is nothing like Luton. The TV picks have been confirmed for that weekend and the dates for games confirmed.

I'm actually struggling to buy a rail ticket online (I'm in Tenerife but I'm not convinced that's the problem)....every time I enter the details it gives me a price then fails to make a reservation.
Considering driving up from Sussex and returning on Sunday...if anyone wants a lift, let me know.

Thanks, that's the sort of answer to my question I was after. Gets depressing on here when simple requests for straightforward advice turn into personal one-upmanships at times.ClaretJimmy wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2024 7:58 am
