Felt so sorry for the male copper who was defenceless against a drunk woman in his car.

If he struggles to be decent in that situation and isn't capable of dealing with it he should probably quit the job

Not sure how you can catch many out. They know the law inside out and what to say in any interview.

They would have to be overwhelming evidence against them.

Anyone who watched the detective series on the BBC will have seen the pc who was working with the drug gang in Rochdale.
She had rung the gang members over 150 times and multiple times on the day they were getting busted.

She is still working.

On the other hand there was one on 24 Hours in Police Custody a couple of weeks ago who got done for blackmailing.

Could not believe it at the end of the final episode when it was revealed she had not even faced internal disciplinary measures. A serving police officer sitting there giving “no comment” responses when interviewed , with both electronic and eye witness evidence against her , and she’s still in place !!! Anyway thanks to the OP for drawing my attention to this new series which I will watch.

Yeah, that was good policing.

He left loads of evidence behind because he was so arrogant he wouldn't get caught.
