In all seriousness this could be 8 or 9 for city tonight
Where’s the aggression and pressing? This is pathetic

I honestly expected some effort, pressing, aggression.
It’s like a pre season friendly

To defend and compete at the very least. This has been worse than the 6-1 was so far

Re: Thread for tonight?
God damn awful defending that, for such a top class defender vk signed some right plodders @ the back.
Re: Thread for tonight?
Hilarious to see people lose their knickers over conceding goals away at City, complete predictable write off it simply cannot anger me
Re: Thread for tonight?
So that’s what a set piece coach is for ,someone tell VK that our set piece coach is ****.

Re: Thread for tonight?
When City lose possession...they arry and chase and get the ball back within seconds...we lose it and we can't do anything like that for some reason.
Re: Thread for tonight?
An abysmal performance so far. Devoid of pretty much every bare minimum you can think of.
Re: Thread for tonight?
Some fight , but then that’s been missing all season
Re: Thread for tonight?
I did say if we kept it under 5 we’d have done well. That’s looking unlikely at the moment.

Re: Thread for tonight?
Honestly watching these lads stroll around the pitch in our current position tells me they don’t give two shits either.
We can bang on about quality all you want but you just wouldn’t see Luton roll over and show there stomachs like our lads are right now
Re: Thread for tonight?
My partner dreamt 8 1. I sent her to bed.
Re: Thread for tonight?
So are a lot on here
Re: Thread for tonight?
Hard to believe we're so bad at set pieces we don't even attack the ball!
Re: Thread for tonight?
Not good so far, but remember we’re playing a team that did the treble last season!

You know, if we were a bit more clinical with our final ball, we might have had a couple here...

Vitinho Dara Ekdal Al Dakhil
I think AAD will be a good player but he’s a mistake waiting to happen this season, Ekdal turned into Maldini whilst he wasn’t playing for a stick to beat VK with.
The cold hard reality is, collectively and individually 3 of these four are not good enough. You can cry all you want about last seasons players not playing but we’ve all seen the evidence why.

Re: Thread for tonight?
Our total spend this season would just about buy Grealish and perhaps pay him a month's wages. And he's not even playing!

Re: Thread for tonight?
100% only Dara got what it needs which makes it more puzzling why we haven't signed any fullbacks going into the last day of the window?KRBFC wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2024 8:01 pmLook at our back four

The spirit and fight has been dismantled through disastrous man management, team selections and recruitment.
It's an embarrassingly bad season that should have been a united Burnley fighting like mad and going at it.
I have seen enough now and it's just miles off a unit that are playing together with cohesion. It's disheartening, disenfranchising and quite frankly, dog ****.
Oh and having that backline tonight absolutely highlights how shite our business has been.
