The eye injury is bloody horrible and will surely take 6 weeks before it can take hard sparring again . Months off before new date .
Not sure if the blow hards on here are aware ,but Jai Opetaia who’s clearly no 1 in the world at cruiser ( the guy who supposedly “ dropped fury “ ) is ..quelle suprise ! also managed by Hearn and prepping for his own world title fight on the same card as Fury . Any world class razor sharp cruiser would trouble a big heavyweight in a fight camp .

The BS Jonny Nelson came out with on Talk Sport about the above was simply hilarious as he clearly knew zero about the camp . Who knows , maybe TF is a bit off ? but a 100% TF beats the 37yr old Usyk .

Tbf the left hook was an absolute beauty , but yeah it didn’t look like something that would normally catch the eye . Presume it sliced across the soft tissue around the Wallin injury , it might even be the same cut ??

It’s the elbow that follows through by the looks of it and that would slice it like cheesecake. It’s actually the frame before this one where you see it clip his right upper area

Think it is the same region as the cut against Wallin. Does look like the elbow may have caught him on that still frame though, didn't look the best on his legs though either Fury

I didn’t actually think Fury would pull out of this fight but looks like he has found a way.

It was always a danger after the December postponement though I suppose.

I personally don’t think we will ever see this fight happen now.

For anyone who’s ever boxed will know this is suspect. The gloves and head guards make it almost impossible to get cuts and this close to a fight the sparring should be more of a technical spar than getting stuck in going at it hammer and tongs.

A lot of conspiracies on here He got elbowed in the face for God's sake. Having had a few Muay Thai fights, I know how easily elbows cause cuts.

Don’t think they’re conspiracies, it’s more linked to the times Fury’s camp have made silly demands when arranging fights . The injury is real though and like you say will go ahead eventually . Respect for fighting A class Muay Thai ! , had good few N class and couple of C class fights back in the day .

I only had 4 A class fights... lost 3 of them

Fury has pulled too many stunts now for avoiding fights.
The smell of rodent was evident when Opetaia was sent home early and Itauma his main sparring partner was back in The UK early aswell ( although that wasn’t known by the media at the time )

Why the delay in announcing the cut and calling the fight off and allowing the networks to promote it.

I like Fury and want him to silence the critics but it’s hard to disagree with them sometimes when he actively avoids hard fights.

Should have held the fight in the stade de France as Tyson doesn’t pull out of Paris.

I have a scar on my eyebrow where it was sliced open. When children/Phil Foden get lines put in their eyebrows, that's what it looks like

Saw a few fights in Bangkok a few years ago including seeing Buakaw. He was on a different level it was unbelievable to watch.
