Why wasn't Esteve on at the start?

This current iteration of 'VK's Burnley' is devoid of any heart or character.

Only lads that had a bit of fight in them (Barnes, Roberts, Cullen, Cork) have been sold or written off as not at PL level after a handful of no premier league games and yet we've got the likes of Amdouni, Vitinho and Ramsey continuously stinking up the gaff with their lily livered application when they get picked, and continue to get picked? Getting on my nerves a bit this now.

Reed tackle only yellow?

Surprising with how high his studs were. Good job he didn't make much contact. Arsenal would have had all 11 surrounding the ref.
Red card any day of the week - reckless, knee high, studs up.

Doesn’t excuse another shocker of a performance, but I’m sick of having to play to different rules than everyone else.

Awful half of football, absolutely no idea what we’re trying to do? Zero press, zero patterns of play, just nothing at all.

Relegate us already, get it over with because this is just painful. Kompany deserves to give it another shot next season but this season has been shocking really.
Kompany doesn’t deserve anything

He’s Lampard 2.0

Keep him and we'll be league 1 before you know it. Seriously.

The first ball that came across was in the 6 yd box ,it was an easy collect for Trafford and he stood on his line ,and the 2nd he was lobbed.
Trafford at fault for both, he doesn't command his area and he is basically a poor keeper, this is the highest he will play in his career.

You’re being kind “on his line”. He was behind it, hiding, hoping someone would deal with it.
Maybe one of the 3 defenders in front of him that got beaten perhaps?

Think we are past the point of sacking Kompany now. No one half decent will want to come in to this. Proper can’t be assed with a Chris Wilder.

Yeah he's been crap too. Against City he was in cold with our best CM and our LB out against bloody City, he was dire but I could forgive it.
Today his lack of pace has been a big problem which I fully admit I thought he'd be able to compensate for.
Not sure why you sound pleased that someone is playing badly for us mind.

Ramsey Amdouni and Vitinho off. Fofana AD and Massengo on. Berge into attacking cm with Brownhill and Massengo Plus kick anything that moves( works for Everton )
If this does not improve then VK should resign or be fired. No excuses left

Yes - he shouldn’t rely on the 3 defenders in front of him for the corner and obviously he played the attacker onside for the second

I really don't understand what Kompany sees that most of us doesn't . Vitinho cannot play keft back ( he's dodgy at right back !) , Amdouni and Ramsey hardly ever offer anything , and Berge needs to play in a forward role for his surging runs .

No energy and zero commitment - it is not about liking a runner, it is about competing. Players are hiding. Just flicked through and the chatter about the keeper is ********. The issues are widespread through the entire team. What the **** are the defence doing on straight long balls? Why is Berge sat in the back line? Why are we watching them pass at two nil down? What is Ramsey doing on the pitch? Amdouni is hiding. Odobert is hiding. Not marking. Not tracking midfield runners. The list could carry on...

To make this a grimmer experience, the ref is incompetent and Fulham are play acting and moaning.

Only Fozzy has heart.

Did well? One run when Doku got booked is the only thing I remember him doing. Emotions of many causing revisionism about many players this season. Understandable mind cos as a collective, it’s been a really bad season

Exactly. Good, isn't it.

He isn't our biggest problem. He'll come good. He's not the worst keeper in our league and he'll be one of the better ones in the future.

Incomprehensible what’s happens since last summer. VK has managed to turn one of the best teams ever to play in the Championship into one of the worst ever to play in the Premier League, and spent nearly £100m in the process.

Don’t know where we go from here. If we sacked him, who would turn this absolute shower around?

For those who claim Trafford is at fault for every bad thing happening this season, the measuring stick for me is neutrals views.

An example today, first goal is blamed on Odobert not running with his man all the way and second is Vitinho being “lazy” and not getting out quick enough and Ekdal not reading that fact.

Abysmal.

Kompany spoke midweek how pace, intensity and getting around the pitch is more important than experience. So where is it in this team? Fulham first to every ball. Burnley flatfooted, yellow-bellied and crawling their way through a must win game.

Shock horror - Vitinho at left back is a disaster. Trafford has had one of his worst games for us, and it's a low bar. The midfield is non-existent. If I wanted to watch someone just run around on a Saturday, I'd go down the Parkrun - not watch Brownhill. And saying he ran around a lot is generous.

I think this Burnley side is the softest, most lackadaisical, pathetic team I've watched. Ability wise there's been worse - but attitude? I doubt it you know.

I would not be surprised if some of this lot have ever said more than a few words to each other. And from what we're seeing on the pitch, I'm wondering if Kompany is talking to them either.

Disgraceful. Dull. Down.

Rob Edward’s spent a third of what Kompany has and he is doing a great job.

We are showing our sheer incompetence all the way through the club. I am worried where Pace and Kompany will take us to if he can’t see we need a change of manager.

Because if we go down he will be the man to bring us back up. He is learning, and yes it’s extremely difficult to take, but bad managers do not get 101 point championship winning seasons without deserving a chance to take us back up like Dyche
It’s obvious we’re going down with him in charge, say he gets us back up and makes the same horrible transfers and mistakes of this season, then what?

I honestly think last season was a fluke New manager bounce and borrowed player’s much better than the division they were playing in.

We are looking horribly naive every game at this level. Absolutely clueless.
