Can we now stop the Trafford bitching. We all know hes at fault, but we have had two pages telling us, plus he kept us in the game with a great save. I would rather learn about the game progreso

Re: Today’s thread - Liverpool v Burnley
Not sure what’s more shocking
We scored
We’ve scored from a header from 12yrds out
Or Brownhill put in a decent corner

Holy sheet.
It's like a Pot of gold at the end of a rainbow!
Scored from a corner and it was Brownhill who took it! Hahaha get in you beauty!

Re: Today’s thread - Liverpool v Burnley
The thing is, I don't blame Trafford. He's a young kid trying his best but being left in and hung out to dry. I actually feel sorry for him.
His confidence must be taking a right beating.
It's Kompany. He's watching it every week and not changing it. At some point I'd have thought he'd protect Trafford if nothing else and pull him out the line up but instead he's left him in to take a battering.
Rather than blame Trafford for his mistakes it's Kompanys fault we have a keeper in who is currently out of his league and out of confidence.

VK doesn't have the balls to take him out the team. He’d have to explain why he’s spent a fortune on someone not up to it.Conroy92 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 3:48 pmThe thing is, I don't blame Trafford. Pleased for O'Shea. Ramsey is involved today and he's working. Liking the balance of the back line. Bit of grit today.

Re: Today’s thread - Liverpool v Burnley
Deserved to be level as but for Traffords shocking error we've been really good today. I might regret saying this with 45 mins to play but how much more solid and Premier League like do we look with this back for and Berge and Brownhill playing a traditional two man midfield in front of them.
If the season was starting now I'd fancy we'd have a decent shot at coming 16th or 17th.

O Shea and Berge very strong again
I’d sub Ramsey if we don’t want to concede another penalty. Stupid pull back just before H/T and wasted a great opportunity

Good half that. Shame that fool cost us yet another goal.
Re: Today’s thread - Liverpool v Burnley
If Trafford does exactly the same at home to Arsenal next week, he’s in for a torrid time. What comes Traffords way is on Kompany.
Re: Today’s thread - Liverpool v Burnley
He's so weak at coming out he might be better off staying on his line

A corner is like getting a penalty it seems with Trafford in goal
Re: Today’s thread - Liverpool v Burnley
The plan has worked well. Weve been the better side.Goliath wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 2:37 pmIm sure he has a plan. The players just aren't as good as he thinks they are. Presumably he thinks Ramsey has the energy to track the full back and help us get on the ball picking up narrow spaces and linking with Amdouni, whilst allowing Assignon to get outside him.
More likely is he hardly touches the ball and just runs up and down all game.
Re: Today’s thread - Liverpool v Burnley
Benson for Ramsey at half time and let's have a go

Re: Today’s thread - Liverpool v Burnley
This back line has done incredibly well. Only struggle has been for Delcroix when he gets forward a few stray passes, but defensively he has done well.
OShea has Nunez in his pocket first half. Absolutely bullied him and then scores an absolute rocket of a header.
