Recruitment is difficult in January, doubt the club wanted to be tied down searching for new keepers as well.
Maybe Muric has better offers in the summer truth is none of us know. What we do all know is that he isn't happy and will be leaving if things haven't changed
I will say this. Recruitment might be difficult in January, but already the 3 we signed look far better than some we spent an entire summer chasing and recruiting!

He looks miserable walking across the pitch every week, he's an international keeper he will want to play for his country.
So it isn’t the case that ‘we do all know he isn’t happy’? Just that your interpretation of his body language says he isn’t, specifically to you?

The same as some other posters suggested that ‘his teammates must hate him’?

If you repeat it enough times people will think it’s true, bumba. Hence creating the illusion of truth I’ve referred to previously.

I’ve only got as far as this post before I had to reply. It implies that the first goal was partly down to the defender for not challenging for the ball? Listen to the goal on the sky highlights, you can clearly hear him shouting ‘keeper’s before clattering into his own defender and crumpling into a heap.

100% goalkeeper error. If you shout for it, it’s yours. No excuses, no looking at anyone else. You come and claim that ball.
I wasn't referring specifically to that incident. I think he got that one wrong.
Free headers have been a regular occurence against us this season, by no means all Trafford's fault.

No he isn't happy, I know for a fact he isn't happy but we'll leave it there.

And the one appearance wonder Ben Gibson for £15m who even finished up being told to train with his old club?
Still a far better player than Trafford. He only played once because Dyche or one of his team fell out with him and took the crème puff

We got our money back though.

Muric looked miserable most weeks last season when we were walking the league.

This “international” keeper description is another thing blown out of proportion. It’s Kosova - hardly world power houses in football.

Muric gets better every week he doesn’t play (that might be our cunning plan)

Perhaps you should differentiate between criticism of the bullying nature of certain posts and the defence of a BFC player's performance.
Perhaps you should just give up defending Trafford’s awful displays and accept he’s been a miserable failure.

Think they are both not good enough for PL but probably fine for championship.
We’ve been spoilt for the last 10 years under Dyche with 2 of the best keepers in our history.

It may be the magic solution ,remember Rashford going on the **** he and Utd have been a revaluation since.

Maybe Vincent finally realised he might actually cost him his job so he shouted at Trafford and said he was dropped for next week 🤞

Whatever the extent of "split" it's not the players who create it.

Good point Kilson. Whilst I think bumba was being more specific about Muric’s lack of gametime it could be purely as a result of their overall squad being upset at the way results have panned out.

Yeah I'd be amazed if there hasn't been some big dressing room bust ups this season with how it is going. I've been in enough of them and that's only at amateur level, so I imagine it is a whole lot more tense when it is your full time job.

I feel for James because he is in firing line and still young and will get better i hope but i feel he needs a breather because Vincent isn't doing him any favours what so ever by keep playing him. Only my opinion..

Hopefully once this era is over, we don't see the same toxic online abuse for another player playing for the team we all supposedly support.

For those not abusing James Trafford, It's not about defending his performances, it's about him not being unfairly and horrifically targeted everytime we concede a goal. Those who don't cross the line with their criticism aren't consistent with their criticism for other players poor decision making or overall performance and then there are those who appear to find glee in abusing one of our players no matter what and unfortunately the latter group appears to be growing now that after the Liverpool game there has been a genuine mistake that they can be used to justify their behaviour (at least in their minds).

I wish more had the self control expected of their middle age life experience not to let their hatred take them across the line but it appears not to be the case for some.

There are at least 5 members (probably quite a few more) of this messageboard that I can name who are nothing but abusive on a daily basis of James Trafford and anyone who appears not to have the same hatred. You don't have to dig deep into the numerous threads to find these posters.

Then I'd have thought there'd be a lot more criticism of the manager and his baffling decisions - but a lot are very defensive of him and seem to think our current standing is fine.

Being as angry as you are with Kompany (judging by your pathetic post telling him to **** *** on Saturday) why not have a word with some others who are in agreement with you and voice your displeasure before or after the match on Saturday rather than blowing hot hair on here non stop.

It's not non-stop though is it? If people reply to me I'll reply back.

Nowhere near as pathetic as having 3 wins in 24 and sticking with players that have done nothing in a Claret shirt to justify their continued inclusion.

It'd be fair enough if we were on say 19ish points but we aren't, we're massively underperforming.

Ah so when you told him to **** *** , start a whole thread hinting that an investor is coming over could his job be on the line and in the main post negatively towards him that is you backing him. Fair do's.

It is a lot of words to just say I won't be there Saturday to voice my displeasure.

So in your entire life you've never said a Burnley player is poor, never said a player played poorly, never said a player needs a rest, never said a player should be dropped?
We've all criticised at least one player's performance this year given how bad the season has gone. It's just that most of us are grown up enough not to be so toxic-level abusive about one player and blaming them for everything like some have.

It's really not hard to understand that we aren't talking about those being critical but those who have crossed the line to abusing one of our own players that people have an issue with.

Then I'd have thought there'd be a lot more criticism of the manager and his baffling decisions - but a lot are very defensive of him and seem to think our current standing is fine.
Show me one post where any poster has said that our current standing is fine and that VK has been a perfect manager this year and i will accuse you of using photoshop as you are imagining such a thing.

Ah so when you told him to **** *** , start a whole thread hinting that an investor is coming over could his job be on the line and in the main post negatively towards him that is you backing him. Fair do's.

It is a lot of words to just say I won't be there Saturday to voice my displeasure.
He can f off with that team selection and tactics. Yeah it was a bit reactionary but why did we go a goal down? I just want to win and see players that have done good for us given a chance.

Yet if someone told you to **** *** you would be on to the mods asking for action.

So basically you posted that because once you saw the starting you thought there is a good chance we could go a goal down away to LIverpool ?

Please tell which starting 11 would have prevented this.

I don't read every post maybe there has been some abuse by posters along the way when they are frustrated but most things I've read are just people stating the obvious about his performances.
It's going to get more and more toxic though if we persist in playing Trafford, that isn't his fault that is VK who needs to see he's going to destroy this guy if he keeps putting him in the firing line, for his own sake now he needs a rest.
Some posters also need to stop with the any post with Trafford in is an agenda or abuse because it isn't. It's blatantly obvious he isn't ready for this standard of football regardless of whatever club he's playing for, we'd have a thread laughing about this situation if Luton or Sheffield United had spent £19 million on him

If you want to find any post where I've asked the mods to do something then go for it because I haven't.

No, I just don't think Traff, Ramsey have done anything to justify their continual selection.

How many times do we have to say it... criticising a player isn't being called out as abuse. There is criticism and it's fair game, but with Trafford there is genuine abuse. No one is defending his mistakes or performance (although i genuinely think this weekend was his first major mistake this season (although he has made minor mistakes in other games) and yes i know i am in the minority) but people are having to defend him from abuse nowadays sadly.

Quite often, but have never resorted to insults or comments I wouldn't make in public, if someone shouted the abusive comments seen on here in public, and certainly at the game they'd get turned on (verbally) by people around them

I’m amazed at VK’s stubbornness I thought Dyche was bad but this is next level.

Just in case you missed it he blamed Estev or Assignon for (he said a January signing missed the cross or something like that) the first goal mistake in his post match presser so he’s also started making excuses for him as well.
