The abuse this kid gets is absolutely shocking....call your self supporters...hang your heads in shame...it's disgusting the treatment he's getting.
Why? He isn’t good enough and is making constant mistakes costing the team a lot of goals and points. He deserves all he gets.

More tripe than ever from the same poster. It's a true yawnfest.

Are you struggling with Rovers being only 1pt above relegation. Is this where you come to improve your life. Pop off back to Rovers forever forum.
How is it tripe?

Did he not play it out 3 times to opposition in the first half alone?

Was he not spending ages with the ball at his feet when we were trailing?

Pretty poor distribution again but had no chance with both goals. Made a good stop in the second half.

We’re just completely devoid of ideas as a team as soon as we go a goal behind.

As others have pointed out, it's down to the manager for playing him when he patently isn't ready for this level yet.

He’s a poor keeper but he’s undroppable. Maybe he’ll shine in the championship.

I think some of accountability, not all but certainly some, has to come down to the receiving player. In the first half I think it was Berger, needed to step in a yard to receive the ball. They seem to wait for the ball to come to feet, which gives the opposing forward the time and momentum to win the ball. All through the side we have players not on the same wavelength. I've seen some lovely flicks and touches that just haven't been anticipated and just look like poor play.

No he didn’t and he was spending “ages” because he was waiting to draw Solanke forward to create space, do you not understand how this system works or do you just want him to get shut to the big man up front?

The problem with this, and the biggest difference from Muric last year, is the time it takes him to decide who to pass to. The receiving player makes space but doesn’t get the ball early enough.

Very compelling argument you have put forward.

It’s about as limp as trafford under a high ball.

And he still usually chooses to pass to the opposition or the touch line.

He obviously was, he passed it straight to him with a defence splitting pass that should have lead to Bournemouth going 2 up much earlier than they did. It's like he hasn't learned from selling Brownhill out last week.

I will mitigate that though by saying the lad looked shot at the end and perhaps accounted for his chronic distribution over the 90 minutes and I do have quite a bit of sympathy for him at this point

They use it as a coping mechanism. They have no real argument so they try to shout down anyone with a hint of realism because they dislike it.

At this point Kompany has to take the blame for picking him, and insisting that he plays such a high risk game, despite not appearing to have the necessary skill set (and he's not alone in that).
Surely all of our defensive players can't be that awful, as no matter what the personnel the performances are very similar.
Trafford's confidence looks totally gone.
A lot of that is on Kompany.

His passing was so poor today. Slow, inaccurate, lacking penetration and limited range. It dictated our whole tempo. Why does VK not see that we have another keeper that would suit our style better. Especially in a game like today when we have lots of the ball.

Did they chant Muric’s name just after that pass Trafford made which nearly cost us (another) goal?

I've nothing but sympathy for him now, it's a disgrace he is still being picked.
His body demeanor heading towards the Fishwick before kick off said a lot, head down didn't dare look at the stand, didn't even enter his area because he wanted to stay clear he looked totally despondent.
Never mind ruin our season VK is going to ruin his career at this rate.

It is when there is no logical reason to pay big money for a bang average keeper who hasn't played above league 1 which shows in every performance VK picks him for.

There were loads of chants of “Muric”, normally straight after Trafford made a wayward pass.

It was out of order. Direct your frustrations towards the manager if needs be.

He’s going to have to have a lot of resilience to come back better next season.

A guy behind me insisted on shouting “pink tw@“ at Trafford throughout the game every time the ball came to him.

I’m not sure he realises we are getting beat either as he seems to be time wasting each time he receives the ball.

Same as those who boo at him for not passing quicker... They don't look at the defenders telling him to keep it, or the obvious problem that there was nobody to pass it to, just boo one of our players because they think it's clever

No it ain’t he does it every game pisses about on the ball trying to draw a player on then either puts a defender under pressure with a terrible pass or boots it out or gives it to a opposition player

Whether Muric or Trafford are in goal, they will always find distribution difficult if the 10 players in front of them are static and not moving to create options for them, whether that’s for a short pass or long ball into the channels.

I would never boo our own players and Trafford actually played ok today and didn't mess up and cost us a goal (for a change). He actually made a couple of good saves, but his dithering, ponderous distribution when we're a goal down and chasing a game does rather infuriate me. (Just saying)

When did we become a fan base that boo's our own players? You need to take a good look at yourself if you're doing that.

Its a game ffs
I don’t boo him but he’s well out his depth whoever sanctioned this signing needs sacking

I’m sorry but those who continue to defend his selection are as pathetic as Vincent is for persisting with him.

The guy is a joke and not up to this level.
The big thing for me is that Trafford nearly always tries to play sweeper keeper (obviously under orders) so can’t really blame him for the two goals today.

I still think he's getting off lightly. Even players like Jeff Hendrick got more abuse than Trafford.

As we've all said a hundred times, it's down to Kompany to protect his players. Trafford is totally gone. His confidence is shot and he's being targeted by opponents every week. Whether that's putting two on him for corners or letting him have the ball and waiting for the inevitable error... it's all on Kompany. For his own good, he needed taking out of the team about three months ago.

Having said all this, he still isn't good enough and hasn't been all season (45 minutes at Brighton isn't enough over 27 games). To play the way he's being asked to play isn't easy. You need to move the ball quickly. You are effectively another outfield player so you're looking to draw the opposition on and make a quick pass to break their press. The best at this rarely have more than one touch. Trafford stands on the ball for an eternity and allows the opposition to "get set" again. Ironically Muric has showed he can do it. He's not perfect but by god he deserves a chance.

It's on Kompany. Trafford would never refuse to play. He should not be booed because he is trying his best, but he just isn't upto it. Kompany is destroying the lad.
