The big thing for me is that Trafford nearly always tries to play sweeper keeper (obviously under orders) so can’t really blame him for the two goals today.
I think that message of mine you quoted was from one of the many other games he made errors. Don’t ask me which one cause there’s too many games it could have been.

Yes I agree there’s nothing he could have done about either goal today - but his passes straight to the opposition could have easily cost us goals again today.

I am fed up watching this lad in goal. He is 21 and not up to it at present. Good shot stopper but not good at much else. If he was signed for his footwork, then we signed a dud!

I watch just waiting for his next clanger. Not disappointed so dar!

The defence around him has the jitters. Trafford rested is the need.

Culprit is the manager for choosing him.

The abuse this kid gets is absolutely shocking....call your self supporters...hang your heads in shame...it's disgusting the treatment he's getting.
Unfortunately, this is a job for a man, not a kid, and if VK can't see that, he needs to go. If he'd change him, and take the tough decisions I'd be happy to support him VK, but this inability to make tough decisions is costing us every week.

Yes, I know the goals weren't Traffords fault, but he just can't play our system of playing out from the back and his distribution is terrible. He makes our fans and defenders nervous every time the ball comes back to him.

Everytime he’s got the ball it seems like we’ve got plenty of time, and then he kicks it long to the opposition

No it ain’t he does it every game pisses about on the ball trying to draw a player on then either puts a defender under pressure with a terrible pass or boots it out or gives it to a opposition player
Tell me 3 passes in the first half that went to a Bournemouth player? You won't be able to, because there wasn't... Which was the point trying, falsely, to be made

So, a game where he was not at fault for either goal, you still want to have a go, like the morons who booed him after 10 minutes, absolute disgrace and the sooner they clear off the better.

He is a liability as part of a team playing out from the back. A disaster that happens, time and again.

Just give it up.

Go and read the player scored thread and you’ll see you’re just embarrassing yourself now trying to defend this guy.

It’s telling that you have to highlight that he wasn’t at fault for either goal in the game because he usually is.

He kicked several straight out of play to give Bournemouth possession back, he failed to come out for a couple of through balls and there was one pass similar to last week with Brownhill. He had a shocker, give it up now.

But you make things up...... He did not pass to a Bournemouth player 3 times in the 1st half, iam not defending him, just calling you out as a liar, if that means you go crying to the mods then fine, it would say more about you than me.

Today had nothing to do with Trafford - find it cringy when people boo our own …. It’s not his fault he’s being picked and it’s quite obvious he’s following instruction.

Would I have Muric …. Yes …. But I would never boo our player giving his all

I dont see what VK obviously does in him, I'm not even convinced he's a good championship GK but when you're playing the system we are and he's expected to be on the ball a lot, getting on his back is only going to cause him to make more mistakes so I'm not sure what fans are trying to achieve there.

I won't deny he kicked it out of play, and I've already accepted on one occasion it went to a Bournemouth player

Iam saying he didn't pass direct to a Bournemouth player 3 times in the 1st half as claimed by the resident expert on goalkeeping

You don't need to watch it back, you said you'd seen it at half time, you're a liar, because now you Carnt even state the occasions you claim you actual you saw it happen and couldn't wait to come on here and tell everyone about it, even though it didn't happen
There is no doubt that had Trafford passed it to a Bournemouth player THREE times, the moronic boos aimed at him would have been much louder than they were.

Him playing in a way he’s clearly instructed to play is also not a reason to boo him. But obviously booing his name as the teams are announced is just the behaviour of a low life.

Your making out he was 10/10.

It's bang out of order booing any of our players . Trafford ( for his own sake ) shouldn't be playing at present , he's just not ready yet . This is all down to VK being soooo stubborn/ arrogant and trying to justify buying him .

I didn't think he did too badly today. Kicked one straight out for a throwing, Pope used to do that on a regular basis. He is basically a rookie goalkeeper playing at the highest level and his selection is down to Kompany, not his fault. The heckling certionly won't help him.

Don’t worry, we’re just getting to the stage of the evening where Nori throws his toys out the pram and comes out with his classic “I am staying away from this forum after defeats from now on and I won’t be posting anything further until tomorrow” (but then posts something else 20 minutes later) 😆 👶

The problem I have with Trafford is I don't think he has the footballing intelligence to read the play and positions of players. That's why he takes so long to release the ball and often passes to players who then are immediately under pressure.
several times in the first half he got lucky with poor control and dreadful passes when there were simple passes on.
Telling for me was in the second half when he dithered and then passed twice to O'shea out on the right when he was was not open to recurve the ball safely. He was rightly bollocking by oshea for that. Sometimes you just have to get shut.

Instead of making things up... Again..... Just point out the 3 times our goalkeeper passes to a Bournemouth player or just admit you're a liar. It is really simple, deflect by trying to humiliate other posters if you want, but everyone can see what you said was a total crap

Don’t condone the booing, it’s ridiculous, but Kompany’s management over this has been utterly awful. Any manager worth his salt could see he needed taking out of the firing line weeks ago, and he’s just left him out there to take the heat. Really not good. Turning into a bit of a nightmare transfer for all concerned.

For the life of me I cannot figure out VK's rush to chuck him (And others) in at the expense of the longer standing players.

It's as clear as day that he's totally destroyed the harmony and cohesion of the team, despite what might come out in socials etc

Utter lunacy.

Are people booing Trafford, or the decision to keep playing him?

Still baffles me how we dropped a title winning keeper of a team that amassed 101 points for a league 1 keeper no surprise’s we are rank bad

I've just back from the game, there was plenty of harmony and graft in today's performance.
It was a game we should have won and much improved although it doesn't suit the whingers'agenda to acknowledge that.

We didn’t win though so entirely right to be critical story of our season

Correct, they prefer to make things up to back up their ridiculous agendas, than to admit we were good in the main today, one defensive error and not clinical enough up front.
Some of the build up play was as good as we've been all season
