Yes. It happens frequently here in Shrewsbury in the town centre where traffic is dense and lots of traffic lights. Are you suggesting I have made this up?TheFamilyCat wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2024 11:07 pmSo you often see drivers p!ssing about with their mobile phones to the extent that they don’t move when traffic lights turn to green, and when they do go are the only car to get through and then the lights change back to red?

100% this. I am a very calm driver, have never had a point on my licence (touch wood) in 24 years of motoring, but this really frustrates. They pull out like a lunatic to make you brake, and then drive at 22mph. What is that about?Foshiznik wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2024 12:13 pmThe worst are those who pull out (Whether you let them out or not) and don’t accelerate to the speed of the traffic meaning you and those behind you have to brake.
You were quick enough to accelerate out of the junction so why not continue the manoeuvre at that same eagerness?!

Re: When I flash my lights
The volume of traffic today has changed driving from once being a pleasure, to a chore.
What was a free flowing, seldom hindered ride to a destination, now has to be negotiated around a number of obstacles; amount of vehicles on the road, an increase in the number of over cautious drivers, almost every roundabout that was once free flowing now having traffic lights.
All these have combined to ruin the pleasure to the point of, sometimes, frustration. It's as though there's a conspiracy to stop you getting to where you want to go.

Clearly the guy forgot his audience and the fact the average age of posters on here will be about 60. Absolutely humiliated himself. Embarrassing.

The same way Venkys believed Blackburn would descend up the leagues.
