VK OUT !!
Embarrassing, don’t come up with we was playing Arsenal what do you expect.
What I expect is abit of fight and basic defending.
We’re a shamble, a mess, we are so bad at defending and the shape of team is all over the place.
Enough is enough now, he’s shown hes not going to try a different style or system or drop players who have stunk the place out all season.
He got found out early in the season, teams realised we aren’t good enough to play the way he wants and they can easily win the ball off us by a simple press.
He’s an imposter, the next Man City manager hahaha don’t make me laugh.
He simply has to go, thanks for last season but that should be his last dance.
The Belgium league was his level and he hardly set the world alight there.
He has a lot to learn and he needs to go somewhere else to learn it.
Do the right thing Alan and give us a slight hope of a new manager bounce, I’d even consider Jackson again till the end of the season. It nearly worked last time.

Sad to say I'm not bothered if he goes now or in the summer.. pretty much too late and gone to make the difference.

Vk will stay, we will be fine next season when we go again. Don’t be so short sighted.
We are terrible at the moment though and it is very very tough as a fan.

This season has to be one of the worst in premier league history. There’s not many teams performed much worse than us in the leagues history.
If we keep VK then we deserve all we get.

Still in for me, and it’d be pointless getting rid at this stage of the season anyway, but in a season absolutely littered with rank bad performances, that was probably the worst of the lot.

I still want Vinny to be manager here next season but his lack of learning worries the hell out of me.
Where is the improvement, resilience and ambition?

Feel like I have absolutely 0 connection to this squad after how much they’ve torn apart and thrown a new one together. Don’t feel like changing manager would make a difference.

Honestly this season was so predictable.
You just cannot do what he did in Summer and expect to have a cohesive unit.
It was obvious then, just painful now.

For the first time in 30 years watching burnley I really detest watching this team. I didn’t want to go on the game today and wish I didn’t. I see 11 individuals playing for themselves and a manager who is utterly clueless. I can understand a lack of quality, but there is a lack of hunger across the team. Nobody wearing the shirt with pride, nobody wanting to go the extra mile. Honestly if this is the new burnley then I’m out

That was dreadful. Don’t mind getting beat if you show some fight. Literally past caring what happens now.
Re: VK OUT !!
If Muric didn’t start after last week, it’s clear he never will while Trafford is healthy. It really is brain-melting to try to discern any logic. I mean, how could someone so young be so stubborn?

SD got a chance to get us straight back up, and look how that turned out
After last season VK deserves a similar chance in my opinion.
He was God at full time at Ewood, now people are wanting him out.
It's been far from good, but the jump in quality is huge and with basically a new side, all young all foreign, its a huge adjustment learning on the job, and that goes for noth the players and the manager.
Let's be honest we are Down, have been since December, however we cannot afford for it to turn toxic snd have a hangover for next season.

These young foreign lads don't have that, nor the experience, they're raw.
But that's the new model under this ownership.
We complained about the style, the budget, the players of the ladt lot.
The new lot are spending, but have a model/plan, but that's buy young , potential and polish up.
The growth is there shouod we bounce back up.

Re: VK OUT !!
I’m surprised people get so upset when we lose to Arsenal, this deep into the season. We’re absolutely shite, what did you expect?
Serious mistakes made in the summer, I also hate how we completely abandoned the system and style that got us promoted. The pressing from the front, high line, inverted full back is completely gone. Now we look like a bunch of individual strangers strolling around.
Vincent Kompany is 8 years younger than Frank Lampard and 2 years younger than Cristiano Ronaldo. You can tell, he’s got a lot to learn especially at this level where he’s a complete rookie, making rookie mistakes.
Despite how bad it’s been this season, based on last season he’s earnt some credit in the bank to be given an opportunity to learn from his mistakes and try to take us forward again.

Thing is the Dyche side very nearly stayed up which gave us a platform to build on, this side won't get within a dozen points of safety and will probably go down with a number of young players scarred by the experience of this seasonMACCA wrote: ↑Sat Feb 17, 2024 5:24 pmSD got a chance to get us straight back up, and look how that turned out

Re: VK OUT !!
My take on it...
Even Jesus couldn't save us now so there's no point in swapping. VK has shown his inexperience this year, very naive. I think give him next season, see if he can do the same as last year and then he gets 10 games in the prem for me to see if he's learned his lessons from this season. Obviously very presumptuous that we go up again but as shown last year he is more than capable of romping it.

Re: VK OUT !!
Absolutely spot on. We were at least relatively competitive and never really cut adrift. This season we are On course to struggle to break the 20 point barrier. Regardless of what happened last season that is 100% unacceptable in anyones book and deserves the sack.Steve-Harpers-perm wrote: ↑Sat Feb 17, 2024 5:25 pmGet what you are saying about Dyche getting a chance but don’t recall us going down with such a whimper under him.
I can see us keeping VK and having an indifferent season next year. What will people say then? You’ve just wasted the season by being loyal because of last season.

Been an out for me for ages. Too late now as the board decided this was want they wanted. Nothing will change from now til the end of the season. All dead rubbers and no improvement( as it was a number of matches ago). Started to find other things to do on a Saturday. Can’t see the entertainment in seeing us getting the basics wrong and seeing whether we lose 3, 4 or 5 nil.

The only problem with that is that assuming we can bounce back (not a given by any means) is that if he assembles another lightweight group of players to tackle the PL any new manager will be lumbered with them.WazzaClaret wrote: ↑Sat Feb 17, 2024 5:35 pmMy take on it...

When we got promoted I genuinely thought last years team would come easily mid table .. when we didn’t sign Tella I was gobsmacked and when we seemed to replace the whole team I was thinking this is a massive gamble and usually never works changing the whole team .. trust in VK .. but now I’m sure VK doesn’t know what he is doing and has wasted so much money

I’m not so sure they will after he wasted £100m on trash like Trafford this summer.
