Re: Beale gone at Sunderland
not surprised when you saw the footage over the weekend when he ignored the player he just subbed off. That really should be Beale done as a football manager but no doubt someone will give him another chance

Chuffed
Re: Beale gone at Sunderland
I was surprised they sacked a manger who was doing well for them.
Re: Beale gone at Sunderland
Ian Beale in the post higher up has probably got more about him than the hapless Mick.
He was very fortunate to get poached by Rangers when QPR were in a false position early on in the season a couple of seasons ago.
And that was down to him being Gerrards no.2 in his brief stint up in Sweaty Land.

I see Mowbray stepping down at Birmingham due to illness, the nature of which has not been revealed but he needs treatment and initially has stepped down for 6-8 weeks
I hope all goes well; always liked him as a manger. Talks a lot of sense, did well for Rovers

Re: Beale gone at Sunderland
I’m not surprised he’s another chancer.
Re: Beale gone at Sunderland
Bit unfair on Mowbray that IMO. He has at least got a reasonable track record in the Championship and got a decent tune out of Middlesbrough and Rovers for a few years and his sacking at Sunderland was strange.
He has walked into a right sh!t show at Birmingham though. No wonder he isn’t feeling well.

Something about him that I can't stand but I'm not sure what it is.
How he has been given the Manager's job at some big clubs baffles me. Shaggy has it right, the bloke is a chancer but surely he has been rumbled for good now!

Re: Beale gone at Sunderland
Breaking News that Roy Hodgson has also decided to step down as Crystal Palace boss with immediate effect. Not entirely unexpected given his age and health scare but I wish him well and a full recovery.

Best wishes to Messrs Mobray and Hodgson.
Re: Beale gone at Sunderland
I think he he claim to have fared a bit better than Rooney at Birmingham, but it’s another shocking appointment all the same.
Their fans never took to him from what I can tell.
