The Spurs win came against a side that completely gave up at half time when they became aware of other scores.

As above.

I watched the BBC interview, where VK said "You can still see the team is fighting'. He simply can't see it:

Beggars belief that anyone bothered to travel from East Lancs to Selhurst Park. I do not understand football fans.

I suspect a lot will not bother to turn up to East Lancs next Sunday.

Re: Bad as Laws era
Under Laws percentage points won = 18.5% VK has won 12.8%
There was also a stat on the BBC statingthat it was the most goals conceded by any Burnley team after 25 games since 1932.

3 pisstake interviews in a row now.Steddyman wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 6:29 pmI watched the BBC interview, where VK said "You can still see the team is fighting'. He simply can't see it:

Much more of this and I'm not sure I'll stay VK In. This is just not true at all. I've seen more fight in teams that have already been relegated mathematically.

Feels like he's going through the motions a little bit, which is a shame, because he has always been incredibly thoughtful in the past, even in defeat.

Re: Bad as Laws era
As an observer more than contributor but having attended all but two games this season, this really has been a shocking attempt of a PL campaign and the failure lies squarely at VK door. We are not learning or improving on any facets of the game and his stubbornness to change things in particular in putting some experience in the side is bizzare considering his time in the game. I really don’t see a reason not to relieve him of his duties, sad but true!

And if the fans who went to Bournemouth come on here and criticise they’ll be slagged off for not being true Clarets.Bordeauxclaret wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 6:51 pmI suspect a lot will not bother to turn up to East Lancs next Sunday.
Re: Bad as Laws era
VK era. One record breaking Championship and a really poor first season in the Premier League. Laws a couple of promotions in lower leagues with Scunthorpe. Hardly comparable
Re: Bad as Laws era
Chesses I checked all that on the results 09-10 from CTfidelcastro wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 5:50 pmYour stats are simply wrong.
No draws? We had one at home to Stoke!
CT has the score 0-1 but Nugent scored for us
blame CT not me.
Apols guys yes 10 points three wins and a draw
and what's worse i was at the game

Re: Bad as Laws era
Laws got 0.56ppg with a terrible side which it’s heart ripped from it.
Kompany 0.5ppg after promotion on a high after breaking the 100 points barrier and spending £100m
In context Kompany is by far our worst ever EPL manager ever

Re: Bad as Laws era
The football recently is definitely as bad as the Laws era.
Awful today, the Burnley fans had to make our own enjoyment.. "we've had a shot" for the goal that ended up being disallowed.
Then "we're going to win 4-3" when 12 minutes was added on.
A few behind us (and it seemed elsewhere) were booing Kompany when he came over to applause. He looked abit taken back at the time.
I would never boo our manager clapping us (I'm too sensitive maybe) but I was surprised he was surprised. The football recently has been dross, wide open at the back, zero in the attacking half. Even against Fulham, you couldn't argue had Fulham won.
