You've got somebody who doesn't want to listen when more or less most of the fanbase can see & identify the same old problems & 1 person refuses to something isn't right.

Claretspice absolutely nails it. 💯

Stick with him but he has to start learning and rotating players that aren't delivering.
Claretspice usually talks sense. However on this occasion he certainly hasn’t nailed it. First half of his post he pretty much does but the second half re. Kompany he is way off the mark.

You mean the players that he and his scouting business hand picked for over inflated transfer fees? The ones who have no stomach for a battle.
They haven’t been delivering for ages now. What has he done? Nowt.
The bloke doesn’t want to learn.

GO.

I disagree

He clearly does want to learn, that's probably why he came to Burnley in the Championship, expecting to be in that division for 2 or 3 seasons minimum

And he has made changes, last season and this.

Last season he took Barnes off at half time against Sunderland.
He then brought Barnes back for the last half of the season
He dropped Roberts when not performing
He tinkered with the midfield until he had a better set up
He tried CT as a CB
He tried Benson as a starter, and as an impact sub.
He played Tella in 3 or 4 different positions.
He reinvented JBG as a CM

This season he's used DOS, AAD, JB, ME, HD and HE at CB
He's played AAD, CR, CT, Vits and HD at LB
He's played Massengo at RB to chase a point against Fulham
I think he also put JBG at LB
He dropped Cullen
He's tried at least 12 different wingers
He's put Sander Berge in at least 3 different midfield slots
Same for Ramsey
And he has started to bring Amdouni off earlier and earlier. Against Fulham he was taken off with half an hour to go, for Fofana

And I still don't think 13 points is a fair tally for our efforts this season

It's not all doom and gloom

Massengo who came on in the 90th minute against Fulham whose opening salvo was to take the poorest throw in I have seen for a long time and give a foul throw away?
I don’t think there are any positives to take from the second part of your post re. this season. All of that demonstrates that he isn’t learning.

He did come in the 90th minute
And then we scored

I'm not sure how the 2nd half of my post shows that he isn't learning. It's just a list of all the changes he's been making. Unless he should learn to not change anything?

And for all this, do you consider him to have learnt anything, or be any closer to he's best 11-14 player's, cos I don't.
Maybe he should try playing player's in their best and preferred positions, instead of playing them out of position, and not just for 1 game, for a run of games.
It's actually got to the point that the player's haven't got a clue where he wants them to play imo, we look so disorganised because every week is 2 or 3 changes, success is built on a settled team, and when I say that I mean 11 to 16 players dependant upon injury and suspension, but as I say the guy is no nearer now than what he was at the start of the season imo, in fact he's further away.

100% Stay - Used to convince myself us clarets were a different breed of fan with patience, loyalty and common sense and although you wouldn't think it on here sometimes, the majority of fans still want him to stay and understand the reality of the situation.

Should we be blindly happy ? No .... Did anyone expect to be on 13 points no.... has he made mistakes.... absolutely ! Can we take throw in's ... not a chance....

But we are a town club that can not compete with the big spenders (100m isn't a lot in today's market) and the aim is to bed in young talent and in 2-3 years the aim is to be steady earning selling players whilst competing in the PL...

Getting rid now is brainless for me - Got to stick with it

I'm more angry at the price of a pie and a pint !

The people who say our fans have no patience should read this thread.

The consensus is to keep VK.

I know I wouldn't bother if he went personally, but people have bought into the project and are showing remarkable patience and empathy. Hoping that the bigger picture is a positive one.

One trick pony. Can some folks not see that he has failed miserably at this level and has not learned ? A lot of things came together last season and that was great, and now he has been found out

The stay side might not want the poll to run till the end of the season with good reason.

Go. Again.

It's unfathomable for one of the best defenders of all time to not be able to set up a defence that can withstand any kind of pressure and concedes weak goal after weak goal after weak goal, every single week.

I don't believe it's the personnel that are that bad as individuals, I think it's almost all down to the way VK sets them up and wants them to play. They just are not capable of doing it, but instead of trying to adapt it to their strengths he refuses. It's killing us.

Trafford is another one. He can't play the way VK wants him too, ironically we have a keeprnon the bench that learnt to play that way last season and inexplicably can't get a game.

This is one huge mess and the credit he had has been used up. I hope the board do let him go this week and we try and recruit a new manager whilst we still have some Premier League pulling power.

Still stay.

Can’t hold him responsible for players inability to take a chance and we had plenty today.
