Oh but it is to a lot on here. Especially the ones who stay until the final whistle then log on to criticise anyone who dares to leave early.Westleigh wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2024 10:08 amPost becoming stupid ,if you’re not a Clarets fan but want to watch other Premier League stars you’ll probably get called a plastic fan,it’s up to you and you shouldn’t be criticised,it’s not as though “True” Burnley fans are unable to get tickets ,and if you like watching us get beat every game then it’s all so up to you ,why the big deal about who buys a season ticket and who doesn’t ,it ain’t a badge of honour.

Re: Season tickets next season
Admit it, most of us are going to renew, even if we get hammered 5-0 every game for the remaining 12. No matter how frustrating we take the highs as well as the lows. That's football.
Don't get me wrong, we might not be massively enthusiastic at times, but ultimately we will be there for the club no matter the owners, manager or players.
if they price people out of it, especially in the current economic climate, then that's another matter, I really hope they aren't going for price rises given this season's experience and almost certainly playing outside the Prem.

Re: Season tickets next season
far cheaper to use 5 loans so I suspect we will do but yes, it's not ideal
Re: Season tickets next season
Maybe we should sue Everton for the sporting advantage they gained by overspending and forcing other clubs into selling players and paying off managers due to relegation ,now its been proven they cheated.
. We could use the few million quid to discount season tickets.

It's not us you have to wary of, it's the grandchildren that
appear from time to time when one or other of us can't make it.
Neither me nor my partner are there this Sunday as both pretty ill
so you're safe for the time being.
Re: Season tickets next season
They’ll be out on Monday after our Sunday win.

We will get the inevitable fans not renewing because of a rare bad season. Yet they will spend their afternoon in the pub instead spending £50 are so.

It's their choice. You have to make a day out on the Turf better than the pub to attract them.
The same way a Restaurant needs to make better food than you get at home.

Re: Season tickets next season
Win on Sunday, and I predict season ticket sales will start next week. Lots of fancy PR polishing any little success we had this year and a massive emphasis on last seasons success. Expect references to sell out this year and waiting lists, Imagine missing a season like the last one ! I think they will be increases in prices maybe some twist with a 2 year deal or similar. Or maybe different prices for the number of years you have held your season ticket continuously type of a loyalty bonus
Re: Season tickets next season
I'd love the loyalty bonus to be true, what discount for having one since the early 70s?...i think anywhere between no increase or a 5% rise would be acceptableturbo5 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2024 2:59 pmWin on Sunday, and I predict season ticket sales will start next week. Good point. It would be a nice gesture to freeze season ticket prices for anyone who had held one continuously for a period of ten years or more.
Re: Season tickets next season
If they attempt to hike the prices on a par with the catering prices I think there will be lots of empty seats.

Re: Season tickets next season
I think they’re just waiting until the inevitable is all but confirmed . If we went 13/14 adrift then I’d expect AP to make a statement and shortly after, next seasons tickets to go on sale . The whole club can move on and at least complete an orderly retreat into the Champ.
A fat lady was seen purchasing tickets for tomorrow’s game , checking out the place I guess .

Can only assume you weren't there in the '80s.jojomk1 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 29, 2024 10:09 pmSeriously considering not renewing
The excellent work VK did the season before has been eradicated by some unknown belief that he could move to another higher level by buying inexperienced young guys who knew nothing about the Premier League
And even when it was clear this plan was not working he failed to make changes with the experience that he still had within the club
And I don't believe he will recognise/change these mistakes and the starting eleven next year will remain as with this season
Muric will be gone as will Taylor, Cork, Brownhill, Zaroury, Benson, Redmond, Roberts
Loanees will go
Foster, Koleosho, Berge and Odobert may be sold if we can make a profit on them
I doubt the remaining squad will be strong (and even experienced enough) to compete in the Championship next season
Not sure I want to see another episode of poor performances as we have witnessed this season
Re: Season tickets next season
The 80’s was totally different and cannot be compared to how people feel about this current shambles.
In the 80’s we were on our arse and football in all of the leagues was in the doldrums.
We had players like Phil Malley and Ashley Hoskins giving their all on not much more money than ordinary lads were earning at the time. This lot of overpaid, underachieving pampered players have no concept of what it means to pull on the claret and blue shirt and give their all for the working class people who pay to come and watch them.

Can you elaborate on these ground renovations?claret10 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 29, 2024 10:09 pmI heard that it could be due to possible ground renovations - there were plans that got put on hold because we got promoted and they didn't want to miss out on ticket sales - so with us likely being in the championship with lower crowds wouldn't be surprised if we took the opportunity to do some work and they are seeing how they can move people before releasing the details

Re: Season tickets next season
My wife emailed ticket office today to query if and they responded saying they are finalising details and will be out soon. They also said direct debit payments will come out in April for first payment so they surely will be out this week.

Re: Season tickets next season
Not a chance they increase the price now after the non attendees on Sunday.
It would be business suicide.
If up to 4/5k didn't turn up when they already paid. They aren't renewing with a price increase.
