Ref arrived late ….. which compounded the late call.
Met a scout who had travelled up from Essex so can’t complain really. Plus I stopped Leisure mid journey.

Time to go back to Ashton?

We much preferred Curzon Ashton to Leyland and I wish we could go back there.

We found out there was an inspection just after we set off but a guy on Twitter confirmed the postponement ten minutes before the club announced it. The state of that pitch at Leyland and today's weather had me wondering all morning why it was still on. Far too late to be calling games off and the ref turning up late is unaceptable.

Yes, let's get back to Curzon Ashton.

A Cat 1 club play their u21 games at Leyland - we have to use their blue and white corner flags

We can't afford to buy our own?

It got worse recently for our FA Youth Cup tie against Birmingham when there was a large flag supporting said club adorning some seats on the back row of the stand. We ensured it was removed.

Nice ground is Curzon A.
Wish we'd go back there too.

How has any Burnley official seen that and thought it was appropriate to leave it.

We were on the M65 when the postponement was confirmed and turned back at junction 2.
