Hopefully it is better than the usual ones, with some more in-depth questioning for the journalists

nah not really, same as usual tbh (in a good way, hence the consistent comment).

He was asked about standing in front of the fans at Palace, and said something along the lines of it wasn't an apology - you don't apologise for trying your best (regardless of the outcome) and I happen to agree with that sentiment to a degree. I don't think anyone is setting out to be out of their depth.

He was asked about young players being scared from this seasons experience - it's all part of the learning, it'll do them good in the long run etc. Again, I agree but it's not helping our mood is it !

You can watch it on rewind, only goes on for about 10 mins

Was he asked about picking the same inept players and formation every week?

All the sports teams I have played in, pairs or bigger teams, the advice was always don’t apologise to your teammates if you have tried your best. Sure it is the same principle here in VK’s mind, but I do think paying customers want to feel a bit of regret aired when implosions happen, that’s what leads to all this “they aren’t trying” etc which personally I don’t agree with, but the club don’t really nip these things in the bud and it fuels those fans who are minded to slag them off on social media or in the ground.

I dont agree with the not trying comments at all, however theres a few players that have formed bad habits which could be construed as lazyness. Namely a few of the wingers who probably arent used to playing in a 442 where the wingers need to work their balls off and can end up as more like wing backs than inside forwards in a 433.
