Come on Rigsby, sort them out.
Re: Today's Football
Effort endeavour and energy from Luton reaping results tonight, I wish our overpriced starlets showed some of these qualities coupled with their multi million pound talent we mightnot be deep in the poop.

Luton genuinely brilliant this season. Grit, determination, hard work and belief.
Re: Today's Football
Fawning over Luton continues, we gave Villa a better game with 10 men and we were the away side!

Can’t you just appreciate Luton are plucky championship team making a real fight of it.
It’s not even a comparison to us as we are pathetic.
Luton are just good to watch

Villa very lucky not to be a man down there.
Re: Today's Football
Didn’t touch them at home though did we? Just like we’ve gotten nowhere near anyone.

Again, they spent a quarter what we did. If it's fawning then I'm guilty.

Luton are crap, yet they're eight points in front of us as it stands.
Strange that.

Re: Today's Football
Absolutely. It's those easy yellows that just aren't given when already booked which drive me mad. Like Wharton's last week.

Re: Today's Football
Luton are lots of things that we're not at the minute. Confident, physical, energetic, determined, organised, united. The list could go on. Basically they have an identity.
The problem for us is that we're just a (much) worse version of the top sides. Luton (as we used to) present a genuinely different challenge for teams, which on it's day can cause problems for anyone. That might not be enough to keep them up, but at least it's not as difficult to watch as our performances.

Luton have a more swashbuckling style that the crowd can get behind.

Burnley fans were falling over to praise Luton whilst they were getting pumped 4-1 at Anfield by Liverpools reserves yet slagged off Burnley for losing 3-1 there to a much stronger Liverpool side and we had huge chances.Sgt. You just need to stop being childish.
People can compliment another team without someone coming on here trying to start an argument.
What’s the actual issue?

Chong foul on keeper for the first. They are getting refereed differently to us. Great goal from Villa.

Do any of you Luton fans need counselling?
Whilst there is the slightest mathematical chance that we can stay in this league, I wish nothing but pain and misery for our relegation rivals.

Don't need one, just the knowledge that grit, determination and belief don't let you survive at this level, or even get a result today, but glad you enjoyed the game.

Get them down with us, if it goes that way. Them or Everton

Exactly, I've never seen a set of fans behave like some of ours have this season, falling over themselves to praise other teams in an effort to slag burnley off.Anonymous Claret wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2024 7:29 pmDo any of you Luton fans need counselling?

Re: Today's Football
I think fawning is to strong, nothing wrong in admiring a small unfashionable club that was appalingly owned for decades and they have risen through the ranks utilising teamwork and strength etc. I'm delighted they got beat and when they do get beat, but they have given themselves a chance which we despite spending a fortune by our standards haven't. Despite us spending a fair few recent years in the top flight we learned nothing from that period, they though as novices recognised power, pace teamwork etc would be vital and for that I admire them.

Re: Today's Football
Wanting Luton to do well and have a go is just supporting an underdog.
If (when) we go down it won't be because of Luton, it will be because of our own inept performances.
As for using terms like "slag off" - makes you sound like a proper chav

Re: Today's Football
Certainly, and the Luton / city game. I've seen some say how well organised Sheff utd are in an effort to have a dig at us.
