What a difference a year makes........

Anass Zaroury and Manuel Benson both scored twice as Championship leaders Burnley moved into the FA Cup fourth round with an impressive 4-2 victory at Bournemouth.

I said it earlier on the match thread, last season’s team, playing well and at full strength, would have seen off Bournemouth today, no probs.

.....I can recall a post match interview with Jack Cork who said that the team was now able to compete with the bottom third of the PL.

I wonder if he's found that 100 million pound player yet?

Truth is if at this level you cant defend and are blunt in attack the results are largely predictable

Huge, huge mistakes on and off the pitch this season. I hope the club and VK learn you can't make 15-16 changes in personnel every summer and expect it to work. Fear the same ahead this summer. Never a truer saying then if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

which would suggest he expected an awful lot more from this batch of players. We can all rightly point the finger at VK for plenty of things like the whole Trafford saga but did anyone think that certain other players would be so anonymous ?
