Can't you accept that you are both right.
You are right we did cock up in the summer.
He's right as well, the Prem is a lot stronger than 2 years ago.
These little things is how the bickering starts. I apologise if I sound like a school teacher, and I'm not accusing you of spoiling for an argument, but this is how so many of the petty arguing on this board kicks off, you're wrong, I'm right.
Let me clarify my stance without implying a dispute, which is why I prefaced my comment with "I think" to express it as merely my viewpoint rather than an argument.
In my opinion, had Leicester and Leeds, who were relegated last season, been part of this Premier League season, they would have outperformed teams such as Everton, Forest, Bournemouth, and Crystal Palace. Even the traditionally strong teams like Manchester United and Chelsea have not shown their best form this season, which, I believe, has contributed to the success of Aston Villa and Newcastle.
If you look at the bottom of the table, its clear to suggest that there could be a larger gulf, but if you scratch beneth the surface and look how the Burnley and Sheffield United prepared for this campaign, I don't think there is much difference to previous seasons.
