It’s also important to remember not to click and comment on the subjects you have no interest in….
I’d love ‘em to go down, for no other reason than my tick counter continues… currently wouldn’t fancy our chances v them at the moment.

I bloody hope so. Quite like us being a division above them and we certainly haven't done our part to maintain that.

Watched the botherers v newcastle game Pete… they looked like they had a game plan, and carried a bit of steel about em, and as we all know from our recent past, it’s amazing what you can achieve when set up like that. Especially against a side who run out of ideas once in sight of the 18 yard box.

Re: Blackburn will
Why are we concerning ourselves with that mob up the road?
We have just gone rock bottom of the league after our poor relegation rivals were unlucky to get a draw with the team who easily beat us last Sunday.
We are almost as shite as they are. Next season could be a real leveller.

Not if they’re relegated, which is looking likely with their run in and dreadful form.Jamesy wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 7:11 pmWhy are we concerning ourselves with that mob up the road?

I’m quite confident we’ll be better than them next season but I wouldn’t be surprised to see us both languishing around mid table.Jamesy wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 7:11 pmWhy are we concerning ourselves with that mob up the road?

You’re expecting them to stay up? Ballsy call with their run in and current form.StayingDown4Ever wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 7:31 pmI’m quite confident we’ll be better than them next season but I wouldn’t be surprised to see us both languishing around mid table.
Big turnaround job for Useless, as the Rovers fans are now calling him

Re: Blackburn will
You seem to be getting very upset about it Jamesy.
Chill out.
If you don’t want to read the thread there’s plenty of others for you to choose from.
This one is discussing Rovers and their impending relegation to league one. Without Szmodics they’d have already paid out. One man team.
Either way, they won’t have him next year as they’ll never hold on to him.

We can talk about other teams on this forum, not least our rivals. If you want to whinge on about us yet again, do it on one of the numerous other threads.

Re: Blackburn will
I don’t need to chill pal. Whilst you lot are laughing at those clowns down the road you are conveniently ignoring how useless we are.
We have just hit bottom spot in the Premier League and that is where we will stay. Embrace it.

Not ignoring anything.
Still, I’d rather be rock bottom of the prem than heading to league one. Soon as they stop sending the chicken feed it’ll be curtains.
Re: Blackburn will
I wouldn’t get too complacent. Once these Yanks realise that they have royally facked up we could be in a far worse position than the billionaire chicken boys.

Re: Blackburn will
Never complacent, me, but we’re a long long way off being as abysmal as Rovers. That’ll take several seasons to unravel.
And they might not even be in existence by then anyway.

Re: Blackburn will
Back to the actual thread…
It’s really quite concerning for them that Eustace hasn’t got a win under his belt. Seems to be a lot of complaints that he constantly sets up five at the back to keep it solid and nick a goal rather than going for the jugular.
Boro, Ipswich, Sunderland and Southampton next four - they are right in it.

Yes, no wins for Eustace will be a big concern. Makes me wonder what they’ll do if they lost them four? Sleepwalk in to relegation with him or cut losses and swap again?

What will probably save R*vers , if anything does, are the several poor teams below them.
Hope not though.

Re: Blackburn will
That’s a pretty difficult thing to forget tbf.
I’m discussing Rovers because they’re utterly shite too. We knew that last season when we did the double over them. Only it seems this year that’s damaged them mentally or something because they’ve regressed from fighting for promotion to battling relegation. With yet another end of season slump that shows no signs of abating. And a new manager without a win at all.
Think that’s worthy of a discussion, don’t you?
Re: Blackburn will
Read the Rovers forums then and see what they are saying ... you could go on there and say exactly this ... bet they welcome you with open arms and say oh yes we shouldn't do that should we
Re: Blackburn will
No it really isn’t worthy of a discussion. More pressing matters closer to home.NewClaret wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 8:24 pmThat’s a pretty difficult thing to forget tbf.

A few of those have been picking up wins though - Stoke today, Wednesday, Huddersfield etc. I think they might just have enough but it’ll be interesting.ElectroClaret wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 8:15 pmWhat will probably save R*vers , if anything does, are the several poor teams below them.

You’re coming across like you don’t want to discuss Rovers decline, Jamesy?
Plenty of other threads for you to talk about Burnley on. Feel free not to read this one. But if you’re going to hang around, when do you think Eustace will get his first win?
Can’t believe they sacked a decent manager and brought in an awful one

Yes, if Rovers do stay up it’s unlikely to be because they’re good rather than a couple of clubs have managed to be worse.Swizzlestick wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 8:35 pmA few of those have been picking up wins though - Stoke today, Wednesday, Huddersfield etc. I think they might just have enough but it’ll be interesting.

Re: Blackburn will
I just cannot understand why so called Burnley fans would have a go at other Burnley fans for wishing misery upon the clowns from Ewood?
We all know we have been terrible this season and there have been plenty of threads highlighting this, yet when we laugh at the plight of our fiercest rivals, these so called Burnley fans can't wait to have another go criticising our team on unrelated thread.

That’s a shame but I’ll take it.Swizzlestick wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 8:47 pmIt’ll just be the one game as it was a denying a goal scoring opportunity challenge rather than violent conduct etc.
Hard to believe they sold Diaz (where’s he gone, actually?) and let JDT go… only to replace him with a guy who can’t get a win And we think we’ve got problems.
