Yes, listened to both.

Think VK came across as I’d expect.
He knows they lost two points and more importantly a real confidence booster.

2 pts dropped from a decent first half because our defence was out muscled and not tight enough to there forwards but it's similar to last week where we didn't take our chances but creating plenty..

Think quite often it is cooler heads under pressure we are missing. It’s a confidence thing, you need big personalities to combat it. Why despite being a Brownhill fan I’m glad we’ve got Cullen back in, though I expect it has been left is far too late. I’d also be getting Jay Rod in for seeing out games like that.

I like Cullen and I’m glad he’s found a bit of form and got back in the team, but let’s not pretend he was unfairly left out or didn’t get a chance before being dropped. He started the first 10 league games of the season and was poor. He was dropped and his omission coincided with some of our better performances this season where we looked liked things might click.

He possibly should have come back in earlier when performances fell away again after Christmas, but was as “off” standard as anyone in the first part of the season.

The usual waffle that most post match interviews are made of to be fair to VC.

Agree anyone out of form needs to be dropped Until their form improves, but I don’t think ten games is too much to expect for a player to adapt to a higher level… one of the main reasons I was not panicking by our start. Other players with far less credit in a Burnley shirt have been given more time to settle. I was not opposed to dropping Cullen, but have for some time wondered why he seemed to be out in the cold and am delighted he is back.

I think we won two and drew one of the first 8 games after he was dropped. By our standards this season, that’s a decent return. I’d have brought him back in sooner though, agreed.

Once West Ham brought on Antonio and moved Bowen wide we were screwed. VK had no idea how to counter that especially as he had taken BL off !!
