Thought it was just a deflection, but on seeing the replay it was an ingenious
little flick with the inside of the heel.

These must be the worst two expensively assembled teams ever, er, assembled. There's like a billion quid on the pitch and god knows how much in wages, and they are miles behind even Spurs, never mind City, Liverpool or Arsenal.

Should Cole Palmer be going to the Euros? He's having an excellent season.

If Trafford had let that in he’d be getting pelters.

I don't follow much beyond us, but Rashford, Sterling, Grealish and the like are all having poor or injured seasons, so why not Kane up top, Foden and Palmer on the sides? One would assume that Bellingham has played his way into 'starts every game because he is one of the best players in the world' status, so that looks quite an attacking 4 to me.

of course! I forgot about him. Yeah, he's better than Palmer, but not better than Foden....? Given the choice, I'd pick Foden, but there's a gnat's cockhair between them really.

Lot of admiration for Cole Palmer for having the gumption to move to prove himself. He could have happily sayt waiting in Manchester.

Man United should have gone for him really, instead of the Antony type, but not sure he'd have made that particular move.

I don't personally admire him, there was a lot of talk of him moving to us on loan at one point and fighting for his place at city. But turned us down for a big paycheck. It's worked out for him at Chelsea but I think anyone at the time had him pegged to be a bench warmer for them this season just collecting a wage.

Grealish isn't getting game time, so not sure palmer would have expected to be involved much had he stayed

Yeah and I appreciate City is a hard team to break into, but you could have argued the same at Chelsea. At the time it just felt like he'd chosen earning a wage on the bench over playing. Pleased that's not the case now.
